Alisha | Friday, June 8, 2012 - 05:09 pm How long does the trade strategies keep reverting back to the original values? I have been playing about a month and still have to set them manually every month to the values I wish them to be. Also, I have tried to IPO some corps into the share market. The problem I am having is after about 6 months the corp goes back to being a state corp, even though the value and pe ratio still qualify it to be an IPO. What am I doing wrong and why do my corps keep leaving the share market and becoming state corps again? Alisha |
Andy | Friday, June 8, 2012 - 10:38 pm two weeks. after two weeks you can change them in the settings. check that page and also the documentation. it explains which settings do what. we advise you not to change them. the country will remain profitable if you keep them as the default is. |
James the Fair | Saturday, June 9, 2012 - 02:51 am Well I hav'nt been able to do that and yet i've been playing for well over a month and i'm at game level 5. So how come when I change the trade strategies they change back to default settings then? |
xiong | Saturday, June 9, 2012 - 11:47 pm yep, keep changing my settings too. every day i have to change to what i want. that's a lot of works if you have many countries. |
Andy | Sunday, June 10, 2012 - 08:45 pm Guys, there are no changes at all when you are in game level 5. turn the automation off and settings will not be changed. also, when you post it here, please give us the name of the world and country. In all cases when world and country were mentioned in the past we have looked into it and found that the setting were not changed automatically unless automation was on. the general statement about changed settings does not help. if you have a case, show us. we would love to correct any possible error in the settings but to date no one was able to show us one. there are probably many errors in Simcountry we did not find yet and we fix them very quickly when we see one. so please show us one. xiong I just looked into your one country settings pages and all the automation parameters are set on. turn them off if you wish but sale strategies will be corrected each month because you in fact asked for it. you could have changed them long time ago. If I were you, I would let the automation on, it is doing a good job for you. |
xiong | Monday, June 11, 2012 - 12:22 am @andy, at some points, i was with lots of cash. something went wrong, and my situation reversed. if only i knew or you could tell me which variables are dependents and which are independents, that might help with my skills in this game. at the moment, it's all trial and error tactics, which to say the least is frustrating. |
