aummer majid | Tuesday, May 29, 2012 - 12:46 am Hi..I have a question about owning two or more countries: I read in the TOS that a free player is not allowed to run more than one country in one world unless you are a premium user..the thing is that I have launched war on one of the countries and I won the war and took control over that country..so now I'm running two countries as a free user..I'm a fraid that this could be illegal or may cause my account to be banned ..if so how can I solve it? thank you |
Redman | Tuesday, May 29, 2012 - 03:41 am I believe as a free player you can not have two EMPIRES, not countries. So war on. |
Amon | Tuesday, May 29, 2012 - 06:17 am You are allowed to have two countries only, as a free member. |
Amon | Tuesday, May 29, 2012 - 06:20 am BTW I got a related question: I am a premium user and got 4 countries so far. But when my membership ends, will I be allowed to keep the other two extra countries? And if answer is YES, will I have to pay GC for that? |
xiong | Wednesday, June 13, 2012 - 04:44 am i wanna know the answer too, so i won't waste time getting more countries if i can't keep them as free player. or if as premium player whether i can pay with my earned gold coins. |
Amon | Friday, July 13, 2012 - 02:59 am Hi xiong, I just found it out - the worst way. My account expired few days ago. From the day it happened, I was unable to enter on ANY of my countries (I have four). Moreover, in each country there was an option to delete it. I would GUESS that if I removed two countries and kept only the two that are allowed for free players it WOULD HAD allowed me to enter on them. But instead of trying it out, I decided to pay for another three months for the premium account. BTW I did not wait to see if it would consume my GCs... as I renewed same day it expired, none has been taken out. Cheers |
xiong | Friday, July 13, 2012 - 10:09 am @amon, i won a war against a c3, then i turn it over to gm (terminate it). then i got lots money, weapons, and ammos so i thought to try for war level 2. but that wl2 war cost me dearly and i'm negativ cashflow since so that war was terminated. i am sure you can own two countries plus your own (3 countries total) as a free member. when i started out i declare many wars on c3, but only allow me to declare on two c3. from what i read, as a premium member you can own as many countries as you want and build an empire in each of the 5 worlds, as well as build 2 enterprises per each world along with your 5 empires as well. some of the vets can correct me if i'm wrong. |
xiong | Friday, July 13, 2012 - 10:57 am but then i read also when you own more than 12 countries then the government cost will kill your empire....this i don't really understand. i think that if you build one country very well, then you can build the next country, and the next country, and so on. each country in an empire to carry its own weight, so this thing about ownership of many countries will bankrupt you does not make sense. in the real world case, take walmart for example. sam walton started with one store, do very well with one store. then he duplicate that successful store to thousands of stores around the world. at last check walmart stores are still growing at a great rate. managing a country is somewhat similar to managing a business, just more variables to consider. but with this game, it seems that the goal is to increase your expenses as you have more countries, so that you will stick to having very few countries. i have check through all the five world, i cannot find any player with more than 40 countries....and i wonder why not? the british empire on earth did not have sunset or sunrise at its height....and the empire became super wealthy through conquering other nations. in this sc game, it seems the goal is opposite real life? |
