High Leader (Little Upsilon) | Friday, June 10, 2011 - 06:07 pm I have 11 hospitals "under construction" with estimated completion dates dating back 11 months (1/mo). Under Building hospital tab it shows 0 nurses and 0 doctors available and yet hospital index shows 10000 nurses and 5000 doctors unemployed. Why are hospitals not being completed? What am I missing? |
Dkc1995 (Kebir Blue) | Friday, June 10, 2011 - 06:47 pm You could set them to be bought immediatly by going to trade>pending delivers> then click on details that on the same line as hospital then click replace this order by an immediate order now. It would cost more then market price tho. and also The under building hospital tab takes away the employees form the under construction hospital even tho it has nt been make yet... that is why it shows 0 |
rep (Little Upsilon) | Friday, June 10, 2011 - 07:14 pm High Leader, Go to your country's "employment" index and scroll down to where it says "health care workers". There will be a line there that says something like "needed for new facilities". This is how many of each (nurses, doctors, senior doctors) you need for what you have on order. Each hospital needs 1700 nurses, 550 doctors, and 300 senior doctors. So for your 11 ordered hospitals you're going to need 18,700 nurses, 6050 doctors, and 3300 senior doctors. If you don't have them (or be reasonably close) cancel some of your orders. This is important because if you don't have the people to staff your hospitals the game will shut them down and it will be money wasted. If you're not using automatic settings make sure your education priorities are set to graduate what you need. Hospitals are important, but in the beginning it's more important to develop your schools and universities. They are what graduates your people to be managers, high tech people, teachers, and health care folks. If you don't have the schools and universities to train them, your whole country will suffer. Your corps won't be able to get the right workers and will start hiring less. Less hiring, less money coming in. Take care of that hospital situation ASAP. If you put your country name down I could glance at it and give some suggestions. Good luck, welcome to LU. |
Crafty (Kebir Blue) | Saturday, June 11, 2011 - 12:41 am And if you really have a problem getting enough people for some hospitals leave a message here with your country name and I will swap what you need for some of your untrained low level workers. Same goes for teachers. To repeat Rep: ONLY BUILD WHAT YOU HAVE ENOUGH WORKERS FOR |
rep (Little Upsilon) | Saturday, June 11, 2011 - 02:56 am Crafty, The OP is from LU, first reply was KB. Or do you have an empire on LU also? Thanks for the backup. It's tough being new, I remember running into the same thing when I started. Had some strange idea that the monthly "spending limit" was something you needed to spend each month! By the time I figured it out I had to break out the Visa card to save myself! LOL |
Matt Patton (Golden Rainbow) | Sunday, June 12, 2011 - 07:45 am make an enterprise if you don't have one and build several hospital companies and sell em to country. you can do it with weapons ammo trucks whatever you can't get on market just watch where you build. 120 welfare is better than 79. but probably won't do much for low producing companies like buildings |
Crafty | Sunday, June 12, 2011 - 08:08 pm Yes I have 4 empires and the offer of worker transfers stands on KB and LU. I find that a mature country easily makes ample education and health professionals, in fact I use nurses all the time for HLW and the others to balance inter empire transfers. |
