What does the star by your corporations mean?

It means that the corp is a newly built one. A new corp can't be moved to another country.

When you start to contract products out the first month afterwards you'll see a red triangle with an exclamation point inside.

Don't worry. The corp has to build up the contract stock, that takes a month. So while it builds it's supply up to fulfill the contract it can't deliver the contract. The triangle (which means contract not fulfilled) will disappear the following month.
