souemyss | Monday, March 10, 2025 - 08:53 pm so i was away for a while after getting sick, so my time on here was very limited. because of that i wasn't able to keep up with my new full time job of juggling weapons all over the place trying to sell them with the 4T "credit cap" not to mention they are all in the green now anyway and not selling. also to top it off, because I was away i couldn't keep up with the massive debts accumulating and now am "locked out" because of exceeding -6t debt. that rule NEVER made sense to me how am i supposed to get in there and fix the problem? I dont have enough sc case in my account to move around to reduce them, Andy this is how bad these limitations have made it for some of us. The crushing weapons penalties, the sales "credit" limit and the -6T lock out, it's like all of this is set up to intentionally guarantee failure and and all i did was take a "Day off" because i was feeling way to sick to even pick up a phone.. seriously this is not reasonable you gotta do something here... this is like a full time job |
Mr Corleone | Friday, March 28, 2025 - 05:07 pm Just a couple thousand of planes will yank your economy. Weapon prices to have in country need to be reduced. Let people enjoy the war game.. a lot of people left because of this and the game is not fun anymore |
Mr Corleone | Friday, March 28, 2025 - 05:12 pm I cant even sell most of my weapons because most of them are in the surplus. Its giving use them on everyone or lose them |
rob72966 | Thursday, April 3, 2025 - 05:19 am I'm in complete agreement, Really the only thing you can do is keep a decent defensive army. It's the combination of all the changes over any one change. In the past you could keep All three branches of the military. you paid for it by selling products in the open market. With this sealing cap per month. (absolutely insane) The cost, amount of ammo used supplies, service, in training (insane). All this because one player threatens to crash the markets. A threat I have seen here over and over through the years. large countries need to pull in Trillions per month at least 10 tril. Now I have made adjustments, but with extreme sacrifice. (destroying over 1000 tril in weapons) there was no way to sell them this required too much time. The cost to hold was higher than the money I was receiving each month with the new cap. I'm still here Andy, I just do not believe you thought this through, unless the goal was to remove the ability to maintain a large army. Success YAY! Rob The Brain Fearless Blue |
Andy | Friday, April 4, 2025 - 10:04 pm I read this and I am a bit surprised. Are you saying that it is not possible to sell the products your corporations produce? or is it the selling on products owned by the country. 4T is a lot of money. is it weapons or other products? we always had a purchasing limit at about 3.0T per game month. it used to be lower and we increased a bit on request of players. some players accumulated a lot of products. some exploited a bug that n=made it possible to purchased huge quantities. Then, there were some threats to "destroy" simcountry by selling all these products at once. The we have set a limit which is larger than the purchasing limit. Please explain a bit more and give me a name of a country and a world where I can see the problem. I will look into such an example and return here with a reaction. I would like to resolve the problem ASAP. souemyss, The negative cash limit was there all the time. if not for that limit, countries will go into huge debt, interest payments will grow and there is no way to recover. Please give me the name of a country and a world. I will look into it. |
rob72966 | Thursday, April 10, 2025 - 07:42 am Thanks for getting back. Trying to keep this short, it will take a few days to run a small test to help illustrate my opinion. (1) Yes I can sell products, Yes I can sell the products my countries produce. (2) Four trillion is enough for a country with a population under one hundred million. This would allow a decent deployed defensive army. Obviously if you're going to garrison your targets it becomes more expensive (significantly). In my experience maintaining all types of offensives. Navy, Air Force, Land units, Supply, Mobile land and air units at the same time becomes too costly and unrealistic with the (Four Trillion Selling Cap) This is where the amount of ammunition used ( consumption of ammo) in training on the defensive and offensive side is too large, expensive and unrealistic to reality. (3) Purchase Limit of Three Trillion is fine (4) There should be a negative cash limit. (5) I addressed my opinion about the threat to destroy the economy / sim country on my initial response on the post from your now addressing. I will supply data related to this soon. Again Thanks for your response. Rob |
Andy | Saturday, April 12, 2025 - 01:33 pm We discussed here and we agree that the slaes limit should depend on the size of the population. I added it to out short term list and will implement ASAP. we will increase the sales limit for countries with 100-200 millions and a third limit when population is >200 millions. |
rob72966 | Saturday, April 12, 2025 - 04:22 pm That's Great News Andy. Rob |
