Andy | Thursday, August 31, 2023 - 10:27 am Wind Farms require monthly operational costs (added to government cost), and produce electrical power. The value of the electric power produced each game month, is much higher than the monthly operational costs. Wind Farms are very profitable. However, the electrical power is added each month to the country stock and reduced the cost of the country for products used by the population. That cost is in the cash flow of the country but does not show in the monthly cost of the country. It does improve the country cash position. This procedure is incorrect. The value of the electric power delivered to the country each month, is in fact part of the cost of purchasing products for the population. The Value of the electric power wind farms deliver, shoud be subtracted from the government cost. The profit of the wind farms will then reduce the government cost. we will make the correction ASAP. |
Daniel Iceling | Thursday, August 31, 2023 - 10:38 am Andy, I'm glad to hear that you will be addressing the problem of Wind Farms reducing the finance index. This is the main reason I haven't built any Wind Farms. |
Andy | Thursday, August 31, 2023 - 10:57 am Your comments and comments made by others made us look into the finances of wind farms. we also see this while working on a new energy page. The change will make it obvious that wind farms are very profitable for countries that build them. it will however take 2-3 weeks to get the change into a next upgrade. |
