The supply index is a measure for stedy supplies to the country. Most of the products a country uses are food products but it also uses energy, services and a veriaty of maintenance products.
A very low supply index will cause hunger, increased death rates and will reduce birth rates.
a country with a supply index lower than 70 will see increased death rates and reduced birth rates.
the population might diue or go away. Numbers will decline.
with a supply index under 60, all these effects will become even more severe.
The only thing you need to do to prevent it is to check the products you have in stock and immediately buy products if you see a shortage.
On Tiny Atlas the problem is more severe as there is no market where you can buy these products.
you are advised to move products from your other countries into Tiny Atlas.
Countries with even lower supply index might see death numbers going even much higher. |
