Myers | Tuesday, April 4, 2023 - 04:22 pm Hi Andy, We were having a discussion on thread https://www.simcountry.com/discus/messages/1/29635.html?1680184950 And in response to the question #8 I made on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 - 04:50 am you said:
Quote:Myers, question 8: I am not sure about percentages of participating weapons in each of the 10 rounds. I will look into it ASAP. You math sounds around right. This is the way it works. What I am not sure about is which weapons participate on both sides. this is of course essential. and not sure about the percentages.
This is a follow up of the conversation. When you have a moment, can you confirm it please? Thank you
Quote:The defense starts the first mini round. It uses one sixteenth of the available defense weapons (counted and validated in stage one) to attack the offensive forces that are ready for the attack.

Mr Corleone | Friday, April 7, 2023 - 02:27 pm Overall I think defense is overpowered. No balance what so ever. Some weapons are useless. I feel like heavy tanks should do way more damage and attack drones are aircraft should be more effective. The way the economy is on FB it’s impossible fot most players to even build up. The cost of government, healthcare, and even the ammo used when not at war are way to high. It’s so many factors that make the game hard to manage and enjoy. |

Andy | Thursday, April 13, 2023 - 03:39 pm 10% of the weapons in each round. there could be some exceptions. |
Myers | Thursday, April 13, 2023 - 07:24 pm Interesting, 10% (1/10) is higher than 6.25% (1/16). Those 3.75% are a game changer and it kills my 900 attacking weapons in a blink eye. Which is exactly what we are trying to change by the way. The documentation does not reflect this, can you please update it? Documentation, quote #1
Quote:Up to 16 mini rounds of fighting can be identified in each attack round but many times
Documentation, quote #2
Quote: It uses one sixteenth of the available defense weapons (counted and validated in stage one) to attack the offensive forces that are ready for the attack.
Thank you |
Andy | Thursday, April 13, 2023 - 08:34 pm !0% are used in each attack. just confirmed here. both attacker and defender of course. |
Myers | Thursday, April 13, 2023 - 09:22 pm Thank you for the confirmation. If there's a private repository where I can submit a pull request to update the documentation for your review, I'd be more than happy to contribute. Alternatively, if there's any other method for contributing to the documentation, please let me know. In short, I'm eager to help with updating the documentation as needed. Best regards, |
