Education Pages
The education pages are now updated.
The menu at the top of the page will direct you into a page with tabs.
These tabs replace the previous pages.
The first tab shows the education priorities.
The education priorities page is in our opinion, one of the most important pages in Simcountry.
Previously to get to the education priorities page, you needed to go through the menu, and sub menu.
Now, clicking on Education in the menu, you get directly to the education priorities.
We plan to introduce more improved pages and hope that progress will become faster.
Building Military Units
Automatic purchasing of weapons and ammunitions when setting up a military unit is now restored.
The feature was very handy and we were forced to terminate it as it caused misunderstandings and sometimes resulted in huge cash spending.
It is now restored to allow the building of one military unit at a time.
It can be used repeatedly but will only function if there is enough cash available and it will not allow for the spending of cash you do not have.
In this mode, the function is very helpful and it is not harmful.
More updates to the cost weapons and ammunition.
The cost of some products is reduced some more to reduce the cost of waging war and the cost of maintaining the army. |

On the auto purchasing of weapons, will it follow the requested quality as set on the order strategy page? |

The strategy is to purchase what is available and if not available, place immediate orders at any price, to make sure the unit can be built.
It can be more costly. It is how the previous function worked, before we disabled it.
Use it if you want military units NOW. |

I understand the money part I knew it made immediate orders, I was asking about quality.
Is the quality purchased whatever is available, or does it follow order strategies for quality and immediately order at that? |

Thanks Andy for implementing these improvements to the game, especially the automatic purchase of weapons and ammunition to create a new military unit.
With this upgrade I am ready to invade some countries that I have long wanted to make mine like Aviv ... cough ... cough ... heavy smoker's cough ... I mean, to invade a C3. ;)

Thank you Andy. I noticed a change on the transportation page. After you build roads, you can no longer return to the build page to add water treatment or rails, only to the front page of your country. I'm sure that's not intentional as everything else has been made easier. |

As David pointed out, the equipment is laughably bad. You are better off knowing what equipment/quality you need and then stockpile it like you are on an episode of hoarders. Using low quality gear against high quality gear is going to get you slaughtered.
You all should have this in prodigious quantity:
Military Supplies
Gasoline
Aircraft Fuel
Said Weapon
Said Ammo for said weapon
Stocking up for a military is not something you do on short notice. My fellow hoarders know what a pain it can be.
Thank you for the update Andy, just letting people know that quality is very important and relying on immediate orders can get you in a bind. Especially if it is low(er) quality.
PS: Do you think a Crusade mechanic would be too much? Asking for a friend.  |

I made an error in stockpiling aircraft fuel, so now Dog 6 has nine billion tons of aircraft fuel.
Funny little mistakes like that make the game fun. |

Buying some materials in advance, at the quality you want can help when you build the units.
there will be less, or no purchasing if you already have much of what you need.
You can also upgrade the quality of units once you have them. |

I hope the education pages are an improvement.
we did not change transportation at all.
we plan more pages with tabs instead of the complex menus and their sub menus and options.

Me 2, although the "Back" tab has the exact same icon as "Back to workschools". So I thought it was a "Back to workschool" tab all the time instead of "Back". Took me a while to notice correctly. Minor detail of course. |

I love the tabs on the Education section!
Any chance you can add tabs to the Infrastructure section as well?
It's jarring to have to go back to the Main Country menu when I want to move between building roads, building rails, and water treatment plants.

Aries once had an amazing war guide from years ago. It's buried in the forum guidance somewhere and some elements are probably outdated but still some good stuff.
