johnV | Tuesday, July 21, 2020 - 01:07 pm With the recent changes in scoring for countries it seems to me that there is now a huge inbalance with Enterprise scores. Country scores are approaching 4X that of Ents. Even with flat or decreasing indices country scores are rising. Ent scores only seem to rise in smaller Ents that are expanding. Large, high valued Ents scores hardly move. The score penalty is the same for Ents and countries even though the country has 3X more score. |
John Galt | Tuesday, July 21, 2020 - 07:08 pm Good catch. I have completely checked out of the enterprise game. There is nothing about it that is remotely interesting anymore. I closed down 3 enterprises and now only have 1 on FB and 1 on LU. All I do with them now, besides using them for storage, is create 100 mining corporations, wait till their value hits around 700B, then IPO them to C3 countries. Then when all the shares are sold, I repeat the process. Makes you around 50-60 trillion per enterprise every real life month. |

johnV | Sunday, August 2, 2020 - 01:03 pm July awards were given on WG. The first place penalty increased to 2,000 points. The first place pres score dropped from 17K to 15K dropping him to 7th place. His Ent score dropped from 6K to 4K down to 27th place. The first place CEO looks like he lost 6,000 points going from 1st to last in 1 day. The scoring is totally messed up. |
John Galt | Sunday, August 2, 2020 - 01:47 pm I don't even know why we have score penalties. The top player should win the gold coin rewards every month. It might actually motivate people to push their scores up. |
johnV | Friday, September 4, 2020 - 02:50 pm The August awards were given and penalty vs score for countries and CEO's is still way out of proportion. The first place penalty dropped back to 1500 (hey GM, are you going to subtract 500 penalty points from last months winners?) The first place pres lost less than 10% of his score dropping 4 places to fifth. His CEO went from 25th to 50 something. I don't know why the first place CEO didn't move but the second place CEO got the award losing 30% of their score and dropped to 51st. With the current scoring it will take a year or more for a CEO to retake first place while a president can do it in a few months. |
