A new update is installed today.

The Score

The score is updated again.
as a result, the score will gradually increase for all players, hopefully eliminating most of the zero score cases, caused by the awards penalty.

The welfare factor in the score is increased.
It can now reach up to 6000+ points making it the largest contributor in most countries.
Game levels deliver 700 score points per level and is very significant too.

As we said before, we will soon add a new, "Best Players List", showing the best players score before any award penalty is subtracted.

we will have the Best Players list and the
Award Candidates list

Corporations

Natural resources corporations slightly increased their production.
Many corporations have become more profitable.

Countries will probably be able to build a slightly smaller number of corporations due to increasing numbers of people working in each corporation and the part of the population working in health, education etc.
The increase in profit on average in each corporation will more than compensate for possibly a slightly smaller number.

Government Cost

Government cost keeps decreasing for empires.
The government cost for single countries or small empires was already quite low.
the cost is decreasing for larger empires.

Hi- so glad you posted this. I am on White Giant (Maricopa) with a 12 country Empire. I am seeing Rebellions pop up everywhere even though I have Education Index of 200+, Health Index of 120+, solid employment and full stock of Materials. My Welfare Index is following the finance Index trending downward, although I am profitable in all countries. It's frustrating to see that I am doing everything "right" and Rebellions don't stop. I've increased Defense thinking the Army will fight Rebellions- nothing. No control over "Police" and "Riot Control"- if there even is anything of the sort.

I am willing to PAY real money to BUY Gold Coins to run my countries- really enjoying the game, but why would a player be penalized for having more than 10 countries in an Empire? Frustrating.

I'd appreciate some real guidance in solving this problem.

Thanks. Robert

Thanks.

We promised to reduce rebellions.
we realize that the current way people play, makes them build larger empires.

rebellions will be reduced in the next update or before.

Thank you mother.

The probability of all rebellions is already reduced by about 50%.

Also rebellions resulting from a discrepancy between high financial index and low health, education and other indexes is already reduced.

The main reason for rebellions is probably in large empires that keep countries occupied for many game years.

The frequency of such rebellions will be reduced with the next game update in the coming week.

In the mean time, and as was always possible, you can eliminate all rebellions by use of a booster.

Andy- thank you. I am already seeing a drop in Rebellions and my level of insanity is going down (lol). I am still seeing my Welfare Index drop non-stop, still confused about that. Short of Spoon feeding Caviar to each of my Empire's Citizens, I can't pinpoint where I'm going wrong in any of my countries. Can you help on that? I run Maricopa and all of it's countries of spoiled rotten nations.

Thanks.

Welfare declines if your health, education, transportation or supply indexes are down. Finance index and employment too.

The supply index is currently in danger cause by shortages on the market.

Check them all, increase your corporate salaries to a 300 or 300+ levels,

It should fix it.

If none of the above are relevant for your country, give me the name and world name of the country and I will look into it.

I am on White Giant- "Maricopa" and all of its countries. The Welfare Index is in freefall- has been for a while. Nothing makes sense, honestly. All Indexes are up- I am even comparing to other countries who have lower Indexes than I do and their Welfare Indexes are 130+. I just don't know what else to do.

I did go from Education Index of 200+ to 140- thats just me trying to match others. I'm willing to do anything- just exhausted at this point.

Let me know- I removed all "Secrecy" Settings for all countries.

Robert,

The reason is most probably the sale of population for gold coins.

It can substantially reduce the welfare situation in the country.
your population fears a possible forced transfer to a different country.

if you stop doing so, the negative effect of such transfers will fade.
it takes some time.

Amalie,

The text is unreadable.
can you please repeat in a readable way.
with country and world names.

Hi Andy- thank you for the reply. I had the Rebellions driving me crazy- was selling the population with the intent to "surrender" the countries to downsize the Empire. I haven't' sold any for GC's in at least a month now. How long does it take to recover? I have even PURCHASED population in almost all countries.

I am throwing everything but the kitchen sink at this issue trying to find a stabilizer. Nothing is working.

Andy- my Welfare Indexes Empire wide are dropping like a rock again even though I made no significant changes. Can you tell me what you did to help bring things up? It's not holding and my Indexes otherwise are high. This Welfare Index confusion is frustrating. Robert with "Maricopa" on WG

The effect of selling population will be fading and disappear.
buying population helps but it will happen also without it.

making sure salaries are high, and all indexes at a reasoable level is essential.
this includes supplies index, health, education, transportation supply quality etc. employment and social security too.

welfare is changing slowly.

moving to game level 5 will cause a jump is welfare.

Is there a list of where all of the Index levels should be? I have no problem working towards the ideal goal, but want to make it efficient and not excessive. Even too much of a good thing can have adverse consequences, I'm sure.

I am at Game Level 6 so the "jump" is overdue- haha. Although, I see things picking up this month now. *Fingers crossed*.

Let me know where I should have Indexes to make this ideal. Thanks.

Also- please confirm: Adding countries to an Empire does *NOT* contribute to a lowering Welfare Index? Thanks.

Andy,

If possible, may I make a suggestion or maybe the GM can shed some light on the topic.

In the case of natural resources, wouldn't it make far more sense for natural resources to be listed once with a defined amount instead listed multiple times?

For example,
I have oil listed 19 times with wildly different values (This is just in just one country). Compound this over all the mineral types and it makes it very confusing. With each corp picking a different "source" the length of the company can be widely different and this can be confusing for CEO's as we never know are we are getting a "Good" or "Bad" pool of resources.

I'm wondering if the GM can instead create a single source in which all companies pull their resources from, a "collective pool" so to speak.

Players and CEO can easily see how much of the total resource is left and it allows better planning. A single pool allows easier mass management of corps in a country rather then high intensive individual management.

If the current system wasn't finished, was built on role-play, other other factors that is fine.
As someone who teaches players on the game, some clarification of intentions would be nice so I can provide the correct info and feedback when asked.

SuperSoldierRCP,

My understanding is that each resource represents a different 'deposit'. Each mine is set up for a specific resource deposit. A Corp can only take from the deposit it's built for, in the same way that an Oil well in Texas, can't extract from Oil deposits in California.

The deposit is selected when a new Corporation is built, from the top (or bottom, can't remember which) of the country's resources list. There is no feature to specifically select which deposit you want to extract. You simply have to use each one in the order it was spawned into the country by the GMs.
