T M | Wednesday, May 27, 2020 - 02:00 pm I have a shortage of High tech workers because there was a spike in the need for them. Unsure why this would happen across several countries in LU. Like in my country South Basilka (slave) it went from needed 378k HTE to 478k at the month change. What happened? |
Amalie | Wednesday, May 27, 2020 - 06:11 pm Agreed i too have a high demand for high tech engineers and although my education priority is set to a good level its still not enough |
Andy | Wednesday, May 27, 2020 - 09:49 pm Please read the game news. The number of people working in a corporation is in some of them, increased a bit. Depending on the type of corporations you have, this could add up many or in other countries add just small numbers. In general, hiring is up and it may reduce the number of corporations that can be constructed across all the worlds. |
Dbl D | Wednesday, May 27, 2020 - 11:06 pm I've had under-performing corps I've been reluctant to close for too long. This is the incentive I needed to close the losers and focus on higher profit industries. This is a great opportunity to examine the profit/loss of our corps and implement winning strategies. |
freeya1980 | Thursday, May 28, 2020 - 12:20 am Andy, the increases were too high at once. In some corporations the increase in workers needed was well over 10%. I had a natural resource corporation close on me, because I can't rapidly fix the HTE shortage (well over 200,000 in a country of 38 million). |
Jiggle Billy | Thursday, May 28, 2020 - 03:34 pm freeya, This happens every month or so now, it trashes my economy and right when I get it straightened out they do it again. It costs a fortune having to build corps to prevent unemployment, then having to close them once the change comes. I must say I almost quit the game last time. |
