dubletar | Thursday, January 23, 2020 - 12:01 am This is the 4th time I've mentioned it, outside of others mentioning it. The auto settings are still ordering large amounts of weapons for countries that have turned that setting off. Once a country goes above level 3/4, the feature remains on even though it's greyed-out/unchecked. Can someone please fix it or turn it off until it is? Thank you!

John Galt | Thursday, January 23, 2020 - 03:20 am They buy ammo to prevent your weapons from getting cannibalized to pay for the monthly ammo use. It is treated as a product needed by country and you cant disable it. |
dubletar | Thursday, January 23, 2020 - 05:21 am It's also buying weapons, John. Tanks, interceptors, helicopters, etc. |
dubletar | Thursday, January 23, 2020 - 05:28 am And every time I go above game level 3/4, whenever the options are greyed-out, it gets worse, like I have the option checked. It's doing the opposite of what it's supposed to do. And I'm not the only person experiencing this. |

jeffcd1818 | Thursday, January 23, 2020 - 03:31 pm Why do weapons and ammo have a monthly use like bread and gasoline The country does not need weapons and ammo to survive. Presidents should be able to purchase when and if they want or need in the amts they choose. There also should be 2 separate stock pages one for commodities and one for weapons and ammo. |
Jiggle Billy | Thursday, January 23, 2020 - 04:50 pm The monthly use is calculated to represent the training of your soldiers and military officers. |
John Galt | Thursday, January 23, 2020 - 05:24 pm Are they new countries Dub? I believe new countries have automation for a period of time regardless of settings. Also check your country order setup page and make sure you dont have auto orders for the weapons. Also check contracts too. |
dubletar | Thursday, January 23, 2020 - 06:25 pm My auto settings are standardized empire-wide. Some new states, yes. No contracts. These orders are screwing with the quality of my weapons and ammunition. |
John Galt | Thursday, January 23, 2020 - 06:35 pm Goto the automation page and click on all reports to see if automation is in fact responsible for this. Every time automation occurs, it is logged there. |
jeffcd1818 | Thursday, January 23, 2020 - 09:03 pm I went to the automation page unchecked buying supplies country needs and it still ordered and bought ammo that I do not want or need now. I also understand that ammo is depleted for training each month and I will purchase more when need be but why can't I stop the automatic orders. This is becoming a major concern. |
Andy | Saturday, January 25, 2020 - 12:45 pm The country keeps buying ammunition to maintain the army. It is also buying small numbers of weapons that get lost in the process, especially when ammunition numbers get too low. We will look into this option to stop buying ammo. It is probably created when the automatic purchasing did not depend on the consumption numbers. If so, it should be removed. You cannot have an army and stop buying ammunition. It will turn the numbers of these products in your country negative as consumption continues. This in turn will reduce your supply index and then, with it, the welfare index of the country. You might end up with your industry reducing production by tens of percentage points. |
