dubletar | Tuesday, November 19, 2019 - 09:19 pm Anyone else notice how crazy Fort demand is? We know some corps now use forts for supplies, however, there should have been generated more corps that produce forts. At present, demand stands at over -28,000. At present production, it takes 77 games months, or almost 6.5 game years (12+ real days... almost 2 weeks) to fulfill production. I'm already seeing corps in my CEO struggling to get supplies. Andy, can anything be done about this? This can't be normal? |
Daniel Iceling | Tuesday, November 26, 2019 - 05:54 pm Dubletar, On the plus side, anyone, even free players, can build Corps that produce forts. They are very profitable, and use very few workers, only 85,640 total workforce for a fully upgraded state Corp. nighto.devismes, If you are having trouble keeping your Corps operating due to supply shortages, it can often be solved by adjusting your buying strategies. Try increasing your low water mark, and the amount of supplies ordered at a time. Andy, This is part of a long term issue I have been monitoring. The C3 countries seem to be unable to understand how to balance Fort and Military Base markets. When C3s play a large role in those markets, they seem to open and close the Corps extremely rapidly, resulting in weird supply problems that don't effect other products. I think the month to month production drops and jumps, from only having a base production of 1, is confusing the AI, leading it to think the Corps are over, or under, producing massively each month, causing them to open, then close, the Corps constantly. The markets for forts and military bases only seem to stabilize, when players are producing enough, to prevent the C3s from opening those Corps. Most other products seem to be unaffected.
