On February 14, 4550 it was announced that the Eridana Treaty was immediately revoked. This treaty prevented the establishment of colonies on the continent of Eridana other than that of the Malizian Union and was most notably between Ailuros and the Malizian Union though did extend to other states.
The ambassador of the Malizian Union was summoned to the Imperial Court in Ultharion the capital where he signed (some say forced) a New Colonial Treaty of Understanding. This new treaty states that any power or country may establish colonies or an empire on the continent of Eridana and may freely and wholly exploit it's natural resources.
The Malzian ambassador further stated that since the collapse of most of the Malizian Union which was once one of the greatest empires in all of the five worlds with some 80 countries in total most of the countries had been left to decay and overrun by terrorists. The remaining twelve countries of the Malizian Union saw many of it's people begging in the streets. He welcomed any foreign power developing and aiding the region. He will report back to Khome the signing of this new treaty marking a new dawn for Eridana.
Wild and enthusuastic crowds cheered and applauded the news in the capital.
