The cash is deposited back the following month. It shows up in cash log. I think for supplies you lose them.

It takes some time.
first all ongoing processes are completed.
all outstanding sales and purchases, loans are paid back etc.

then, when the only resource is cash, positive and negative, it is transferred to the owner.

whats the point of processing material purchase orders for closed corps ? do closed corps need more materials ? its enough that you dont receive compensation or you cant transfer to own stock) the existing supplies (that you cant sell also)

they should be cancelled automatically.

or ofcourse owner can cancel them manually before closing but, for example, i didnt knew, it was not written in the close corp warning message, etc.

i would say lowering the amount of clicking would be a good thing

the most natural way of closing a corp should be

- cancelling all buy and sell orders in corp
- move all money and products in corp (produced product and all supplies) to CEO/Country stock (at least for human controlled corps)
- pay the reparation fee to country as it is right now

returning supplies will create a problem tough because in this case supply value should be factored in corp value, and this will create further problems like inflating artificialy the value of a corp past 300B by pumping supplies in it.

if moving products to stock seems excesive at least cancel the outstanding buy order automatically, they don't make to much sense

You can close the corporation in one click.

the rest is automatic and everything is processed to conclusion, including the sale of material, paying back loans etc.

no need to micro manage the process and click for ever.

The main thing you loose, is the market value.
when you close your get most of the nominal value.

If you sell the corporation you get the market value but this is not always possible.

do the existing buy supply orders get processed? if no thats perfect , if yes , after buying supply the closed corp will try to sell them back on market to clear sheet ?

The closing of corporations should not change existing outstanding orders, sales or anything that will disturb the market.

When closing, new commitments are impossible.

Then we wait for the corporation to become inactive, then process the assets.

The issue is not very important in the game.

the numbers of closings is relative small. we have close to 700.000 corporations in the game and they are responsible for many millions of transactions every day.

quite extensive and complex.
closings involve the closing corporation but also its customers, contracts, countries etc. It is complex enough.
