to preface, ive been a Simcountry user since 2010 on and off. Unfortunately I never stuck to an account or a name so none of you know me, otherwise im sure you would. I still enjoy the game but there was (and is) still something that irks me. I got a membership for the first time about a year ago when I played with the same email (but different overall account since I cancel frequently), and I had asked beforehand the question of, "if I buy a membership and it expires what happens". well no one told me and to my surprise I couldn't access my country unless I renewed my membership. I would 100% pay for membership if there was a way to revert back to being a free member from time to time if we wanted too. I think so many more people would agree. and yes, people would argue that it doesn't cost much for membership, but hell, im the most frugal guy I know, so leave me be. is this proposal even possible? just wondering

Not a bad idea in therory but what if you are a paying member and go back to free and you are at level 4 (free goes to 3 max) do we revert you to level 3. What if you have a country and an enterprise which do we let you keep.

I know I am probly nitpicking but there are thing that paying member get(use to be only paying member could get nukes not sure if that is still the case). I too have played off and on cancell every now and then then come back. But I have always been a paying member. Free ties my hands too much(can't have an enterprise which limits corps I can build) One thing that always makes me cancel is I'll be playing and doing well and soemthing weill change in the game and cause me to lose mass amounts of money. This time the GM was spending my money cost me level 3 status and haven't gotten that back yet. And now changed some things on the war game and I am not sure if it is better or worse haven't tried attacking a C3 since the change. And they are talking about changing the scoring. Despite the fac I am a level 2 now I have kept in the running for GCs. If they change the scoring I'll probly lose points and not get any Gcs.

While we are one the subject of GCs used to be able to trade money for them. I wish they's bring that back. Also either improve the Space program or dtich it and go everything Direct trade. Space program used to be fairly active not it is a ghost town out there
