Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in possibly getting any actives together that would want to participate and join a certain world of our choosing and playing simcountry how it would be played if it were filled with actives that talked to each other in-game.
so how this would work is that we all start with fresh countries and we build our economy up while all the actives involved are required to reach war level 3. it would be ideal if we are all at war level 3 (no more, no less). Now from here I was imagining we either split up into organized feds and have an almost Cold War scenario, where its one team is pitted against the other fighting to be the economic and military superpower, or all the actives just go solo and we still have communication with each other but we are free to create makeshift alliances and plot against other players, kind of like a free-for-all game. what would make this fun and different is we don't need the GM to create this for us, we can simply do it right now on any world.
This game also could work with as little as 3-4 people who would want to participate to as many as we can get really. This isn't like a tournament where we have an end date, this is so we can open communication with other actives and actually play competitively instead of building up your country for years and not interacting with anyone and just leaving the game out of boredom.

I think I know what you're getting at. Basically getting some interesting dialogue and real global challenges other than just worrying about"profitable corps". |

yea, just imagine we know all the actives who are willing to participate by name, ideally we start countries in the same continent on FB for example so that we can be in communication alot easier. then we can have open dialogue which leads to small alliances between players that can fight when we all reach war level 3. some role play here and there wouldn't hurt either, at least to build up a dynamic between players with their own goals and personalities. |

I would be interested if we got a few of us to do so. But there are players on FB who are super powers. They wont be deleting their empires and starting over, and these same players would have to join in or get together to allow it to happen. |

a lot of those "empires" are from players that login not so often and when they do, all they do is perform maintenance and not much else in the way of being that involved. I don't see what they have to do with this . it would be between the people that we get together in this forum that are willing to be active and chat with each other, pretty much the communication is only between the people who want to be involved. |

ya im not gonna throw away my countries BUT most of us big guys cant stop you. example i cant declare on countries under war level 7. I also doubt any of the other big guys here would get in your way. |

there is and its very loose but once you hit war level 15 and up its high. you can turn off war level protection and you can fight anyone tho |

ok so to reiterate... it would most likely be on FB, the war level we would all be achieving will be war level 3 no more no less ideally so we can fight eachtoher if we want. this isn't a competition with a prize, I'm just making this as a way for us to fight each other/ communicate and build our economies and military. im not suggesting that the whole world of FB is in on this, im saying that the people that agree to creating a country at the same time and in the relatively same region are involved. there are no set rules to this. if you are in with this idea let me know, id be willing to wait a little to get people involved and then we can choose a continent on FB that we can spawn on when we have enough people. |

I feel we are already getting people together and that's a good thing. I feel if you just joined FB now and got started in time more may come and just join in.
Im not sure how many we can get to quit their current empire to start another and as a free player I wont be able to build as fast as others anyway. So we could get things started and hopefully add players in time.
Or we can wait and see what others join in on conversation |

Is there necessity to start new? I mean for .. interactions .. slaves can be used and rules, for example limits on military or population, can be self-imposed. Then again, I am not sure what exactly is the goal here. Set goal, find means. |

I guess I said "start new" so it would make it that we all start on the same level to make it more interesting. if people dont want that then we dont have to do it. the goal is to play the game as its supposed to be played, with communication and war. if you've been on here you've realized that its very Boring with little to no interaction and warfare. barely any active feds. so I can't give you a "goal". the "goal" is to the play the game as its meant and enjoy |

It could be easier to get people on board without asking them to start anew, was the idea behind the question. Then again, I have no clue about current state of mind of those who could potentially participate.
If the goal is to play the game, not just log in and do routine stuff, then its perhaps not essential to be on same or even similar level but rather the opposite, getting powerful and/or experienced players involved could provide some momentum.
If the goal is to play simcountry like if it had periodic resets, then means to achieve it would indeed be different. |

I think what happened is that with five worlds, everyone is spread out to the point where nobody is neighbors anymore. Just seeing an active country near by is like a "first contact" moment. |

I'm on WG and money and unemployment issues aside I;m doing well on there and really don't abdandon it for FB right now. I if intrested I would be intresintred in trading producuts eith on space market or direct trading if we think reviving that would help |
