Is there a way to get rid of your own strategic bases? I don't have any strategic weapons and it says my defences are too weak |

No. The game gods have determined that your country must use Strategic Weapons Maintenance in order to subsidize the strategic weapons market. |

You can at the minimum have 1 of each type of base/airbase remaining. You cannot reduce your budget any less |
