evader23 | Monday, January 21, 2019 - 02:49 am When I sell products my country owns no matter what price I put it sells for rock bottom price. But if I put best price it sells at market. Example Air transport current shortage on WG. My Country Asria sold 5M air transport put fixed price at 1100 Sold for 846-889 (at 100) them times quality. I sold some on gallefrey same month but best price and the base 100 price was 1314 and this isn't the first time I've notivced this. What am I doing wrong on setting price I want |
ferdhelke | Monday, January 21, 2019 - 11:42 am Best price works best for me as it prices based upon the net demand and the quality of you product. I used to price 20 points above my quality, and I did fine, but it was a lot more work to adjust the price of every product every day. Best price tends to optimize the price and it helps to sell your monthly output better. How do the qualities of air transports you make in Asria compare to those you make in Gallefrey? If they are different, then the price will be different as well.....even if you used best price on both countries. Hope this helps |
evader23 | Monday, January 21, 2019 - 03:11 pm Quality was the same and this wasn't the first time I've noticed this. As I said best price gets me market the fixed price(regarless of price) gets me rock bottom price |
johnV | Monday, January 21, 2019 - 05:53 pm I have to ask why you would want to sell below the market price? The price of Air Transport is at it's max so you can't do any better than Best Price. If you're not selecting sell immediately than maybe it is a glitch. |
evader23 | Monday, January 21, 2019 - 06:01 pm I'm not selling immediately When you put price to sell do you put it at base 100 or factor quality in the sell price |
johnV | Monday, January 21, 2019 - 06:41 pm As I always wait for the price to max out and use best, I would assume that you should multiply the Market price by your quality factor. |
evader23 | Monday, January 21, 2019 - 07:30 pm Ok will try that and see what that doess and it may be that if I put sell for 1100 and have quailty 250 it will use 'base price' as 550 and any thing over that sells too which would be consisit with what I have found. Would like GMS imput on this though two but thanks for you help guys |
johnV | Tuesday, January 22, 2019 - 03:13 pm The base price is the median that the mix and max is based on. If the market price is 1100 and your quality is 250 than your product is worth 1100*2.5=2750 at best price. |
John Galt | Thursday, January 24, 2019 - 05:26 pm Anything other than best price doesn't have any impact on the game. I have tested this extensively. The game seems to automatically sell everything at best price, unless you are doing immediate sell or immediate buy. |
