Stannis Baratheon | Sunday, September 16, 2018 - 06:37 pm So after a month of not playing i return to some changed that should help out the genocide happening in my empire.. But unfortunately it's worse than ever at this point. "Westeros" on KB is now losing 200k population per game month.... That is 1.2million (6GC) EVERY DAY GONE IN JUST ONE COUNTRY. I was at 310M population when all of a sudden something changed in your game and people started to die and fast. I've lost 70MILLION population and have not decreased my number of hospitals. So obviously my health index has been going up in return of my population dying. You say raise your health index to solve my problem well that hasn't worked right? Do i return in another month to another 60M population loss? |
Daniel Iceling | Tuesday, September 18, 2018 - 07:48 am Stannis Baratheon, I have the opposite problem. Since the changes. My birth rate has increased so much, I'm adding 100,000 people every game month. I'm having to que up orders to build Corps, just to keep up with the increased worker numbers, haha. It seems like the buff to births is a bit to large for the small countries, but hasn't increased large countries enough, to prevent rapid population loss. Signed President of DanNation on LU |
Lord Mndz | Tuesday, September 18, 2018 - 06:04 pm I think it is all ok now, - small countries grow faster and larger ones still grow slowly. the growth rate is climbing so it is interesting to see where it ends up. |
Daniel Iceling | Wednesday, September 19, 2018 - 10:12 am Lord Mndz, Natural growth is now adding 125,000 people to my country each game month. This may not seem huge to the big empires. However, with a total population of 50,000,000 that is some serious population growth. Additionally, the flooding of the markets and resulting surpluses, have caused 6 CEO controlled Corps to close in my country. Considering I only have 100 corps. That's a 6% fall in the economy, alongside a 3% annual growth in population. Enough to drive up my unemployment rate by 9%, in just two real life days, if I wasn't opening new Corps. Good thing I stockpile huge amounts of cash, and had a healthy economy to begin with. Otherwise I could of been in serious trouble. Also, if any CEO's on LU, are looking for a country to base their corps, I have a Welfare Index above 130, 0% taxes, and a lot of new workers, haha. Signed President of DanNation on LU |
Daniel Iceling | Wednesday, September 19, 2018 - 12:04 pm Everyone, The next month's population growth figures have come in. I'm now growing at 150,000 per game month. Fortunately, my overall birth rate is finally dropping, although my total births numbers are still expanding, due to a growing number of 18-40 year olds. We'll see where my monthly gain peaks. Signed President of DanNation on LU |
Andy | Wednesday, September 19, 2018 - 03:42 pm I do not know about any floding of markets. more population should increase demand for products. |
Andy | Wednesday, September 19, 2018 - 03:49 pm we have taken the solution for the population problem a step further. it was more serious than it seemed. we did not find a reason for that. The population declines could continue much longer even with increased birth rates. we have increased the volume of the process much higher and now see population growing faster. we are checking the recovery of the birth giving age groups. the population boost will however fade away. There will be another upgrade with more structural increase in the birth rate. Hopefully the population problem will disappear in the coming two weeks. |
Lord Mndz | Wednesday, September 19, 2018 - 05:42 pm Thanks so much Andy, I really appreciate this whole effort. |
Gintoki Sakata | Wednesday, September 19, 2018 - 07:25 pm With my Empire having a population increase of 250k total, I love this population boost. My average population age went down. Thanks GM. I think the increase of the population is related with the health index. Now Im pumping 20 hospitals on my Empire. My Health Index is rising like crazy now. 2 days ago, my population increase was only about 180k total. Now its 250k. Going to push my health index higher then. Sincerely Yours, The President of the Asian Empire in LU The CEO of Xia State Enterprise in LU |
Andy | Thursday, September 20, 2018 - 03:16 pm Increasing your health index will reduce death rates in all age groups. It does come at a cost. check your finances for the cost of health care. Currently, the increase in the population is "Overdone" like was said here. The function will fade away but first we want to see some more improvements in the distribution of the population across age groups. By now, we think that countries with population up to 60M are already doing OK. |
