Michael Wilson | Monday, August 20, 2018 - 11:17 pm Oly recently when I got low on HLW each month I transfer up to 20,000 workers to cover it but then it disappears over each game month, my hiring should be back to 100% by now since I had enough workers for it, but it never happened. Can the game master have a look at their system for problems of disappearing workers please, Thank you. |
BlankSlate | Tuesday, August 21, 2018 - 12:20 pm The education system works by promoting people from one job class to another. I have no idea just how the algorithm works, but I do know that when you train lots of high tech engineers, they are converted mostly from high level workers. |
Michael Wilson | Tuesday, August 21, 2018 - 06:31 pm Oh is that where it's going? But it still broken and I can't seem to produce High Level Workers each month it is still draining to zero every fucking month. Can some one explain this situation to me please. Thank you. |
Michael Wilson | Tuesday, August 21, 2018 - 10:58 pm I fucking quit this game if Andy doesnt respond to me and fix this problem, it is still declining and not growing. |
John Galt | Tuesday, August 21, 2018 - 11:06 pm Just keep converting extra workers to high level workers in the educational priorities menu. You will catch up to the demand eventually. |
Daniel Iceling | Wednesday, August 22, 2018 - 02:50 am Michael Wilson, What is the name of your country? And the world where is it based? People will have a better chance figuring out the problem, if they can look at your countries workforce data. Signed President of DanNation on LU |
Michael Wilson | Wednesday, August 22, 2018 - 09:13 am My Country Name is Australian Stock Exchange on LU world, thank you guys and excuse for my bad behaviour language. |
Michael Wilson | Wednesday, August 22, 2018 - 12:25 pm I fucking quit, Andy you just lost a player and your income. Thanks alot. |
Anthony King | Sunday, August 26, 2018 - 04:58 pm Andy, I started a new Country and it seems that you obviously have a problem at you're end with you're education system set up, it's needs working done and the High levels are still declining each month no matter how much workers I transferred like i recently transferred 20,000 workers to High workers and boom next month all gone. So please Andy this needs an urgent update, please fix this problem. |
Anthony King | Monday, August 27, 2018 - 02:16 am Bump... |
Andy | Tuesday, August 28, 2018 - 01:07 pm High level workers are a percentage of each age group. the number needed in industry depends on the corporations you build and it depends on the upgrade level of corporations. If there is a shortage of HLWs, there is a monthly auto upgrading of LLWs and MLWs into the HLWs group. This number can be up to 100.000 per game month. In general, if there is a large shortage of HLWs you see their numbers grow. if they keep disappearing from the unemployed, it means they are employed. you can see the total number of people in each group on the employment page, you also see the total. provided there are LLWs available, you will see the total number increase each month. Shortages could remain because the number needed is changing too. People never "disappear" they could be employed (You will see the numbers of employed increasing), they could become older (>65) they retire. (you can see how many are in the 60-65 age group and you will know how many will retire in the coming 60 game months. |
Gintoki Sakata | Wednesday, September 19, 2018 - 07:44 pm I think the reason he is losing so much High Level Workers is because his corporations are all upgrading at once and his education output is too low to do anything at all. For example, an Air Transport Corp, while its quality and efficiency levels are increasing, so does its demands for High Level Workers. They need atleast 2.5 times, and sometimes 3x, the base number of High Level Workers. The answer of this problem is simple. Build more universities to produce as much Engineers, High Tech Seniors, High Tech Executives and Executives. Also try to increase the education priorities. For me, my priority for Engineers is at 26, High Tech Senior at 15, High Tech Executive at 16, Executive at 16. Now I am producing 14,500 Engineers, 3100 Seniors, 429 H. Executives and 617 Executives. Just as Andy said, people dont disappear, they were simply recruited or employed by some of the corporations. Also try to keep your population as young as possible. Older population means the country has a more older population. Once this old people reach 65, they will retire. Also try to keep the health index as high as your economy allow. I think the problem here is simply mismanagement on part of the player. Sincerely Yours, The President of the Asian Empire in LU The CEO of Xia State Enterprise in LU |
Andy | Wednesday, September 19, 2018 - 09:14 pm There is an "auto correct" function that transfers workers from lower levels to the high level worker level. This function has always been there and it moves up to 100.000 per game month. so any shortages are eventually resolved. you can also have a general shortage of workers (maybe too many corporations). |
Michael Wilson | Wednesday, September 19, 2018 - 11:01 pm Ok guys thank you so much I understand now. Also, just one last question before I go, what is the priority number for the education set up? Is still at 120 or is it more? Thank you and one last thing, could you please set my priorities up correctly please because I am need of more hospitals and schools and engineers for workers, thank you so much for you're time, you're sincerely Anthony AKA Michael. |
Michael Wilson | Thursday, September 20, 2018 - 06:39 am I just need a little help please thanks, bumpy, bumpy, bump. |
johnV | Thursday, September 20, 2018 - 11:43 am A few months back Andy verified 120 as the total. From what I've noticed if you are below 120 the number of workers increases because you have fewer profeesionals. You can go over 120 without a problem, but it will not increase the total number of those being educated. Each point over only changes the weight of the other values. So if you make the total 180 by increasing one field by 60, you will educate more in that field but less in all others. As far as the individual settings it all depends on where your shortages are. The higher level professions take longer to educate and need a higher value. If you need lots more hospitals and can build the maximum with almost no unemployed healthcare then something like 9-11-14 for nurses, doctors, senior doctors. Raise the value for the field with the least unemployed and lower it for the highest. The effects of changes to education values take time. Wait at least a day before readjusting. Use the graphs to track the effects of the changes. |
Andy | Thursday, September 20, 2018 - 03:09 pm Thank you JohnV |
