Game alerts are available for a long time and not used a lot.

Game alerts can be triggered to send you a message when a certain condition occurs.
example: some index goes under some level you have set. or your country is now making losses etc.

We think that this is a good way to ease the need to check many parameters and we would like to extend alerts to other areas.

example:
Give me an alert if a country, close to my country, has its offensive index above a certain level.

army size of a country increases above a certain level.

A foreign naval unit is closer then a certain number of miles from my country.

we are open to suggestions. Most alerts are easy to add but when you start thinking about averages or sums of values it becomes more complex.

Some of these alerts could be connected to the availability of intelligence units.

Having a set of defense related alerts can make it easier to maintain armies that are based in many places.

I have noticed I am not receiving email alerts when an entity is about to expire or when a country I own has been declared war on. I sent an email to the gamemaster email address a few months ago but did not receive a reply. Can this be looked at please?

How do we set up these game alerts? This will be a nice thing to have to keep tabs.

@Aries I've sent this to an engineer to look into why this isn't working for you

@Jhinkk To set up alerts, on the Simcountry homepage go to notifications in the left-hand menu.
You can pick triggers for notifications and choose whether you want to receive them through email, facebook or twitter.

@tajikee Thanks for reporting. We're looking into a fix.

Could you all please check if the notifications are ending up in your spam folder?

Mine are not going to spam folder. I can say it was working as late as 8-23-2016, the last email I received notifying me of an entity about to expire. Since then I played it close again and have not received a notification and, concerned, tested having an ally declare war on one of my country and received no email notification of war status.

We will look into it quickly.
We think that the feature is helpful and should be extended.

I was wondering if it would be difficult to change the number of corps a enterprise can build to make it more beneficial to everyone. Also it would make the game more realistic kind of; (Most corps are enterprise controlled or public in real life)
At least in countries like the US

I see enterprises with close to 1000 corporations.
is it realistic?
there are probably only 15.000 in the entire world.
and you can build two enterprises.

The reason we have a limit at all is to prevent one or two players from dominating the entire economy of a world.

Actually, the average world has about 80,000 corporations. Kebir Blue has the least at about 59,000 and the largest worlds, Fearless Blue and White Giant, have about 110,000. I do agree with keeping the current limits though. Careful management of corporations is more impressive than repeating a building or bidding strategy. I do think that the enterprise tax should be reviewed, however.

Removing enterprise tax could be a good idea, otherwise we should keep all other limits the same.

I am sure that no tax enterprises will produce higher profits. so will corporations if we significantly reduce the number of workers or the raw materials needed.

But enterprises can be very profitable as it is now and they are good for the countries where they placed their corporations.

we should not trivialize Simcountry by removing challenges.
