So folks, me zen and aries had a chat.
Bottom line, i'd like to see who would be willing to pit against Aries.
High risk vs high gain.
Aries
Vs
10 or 15 other players co-operating together.
He has chosen to have no allies, no backup, nothing. He will fight solo.
I'm calling out all of the big players in the game.
You can even be in aries fed (you'd have to leave ofc for this).
Surely, pitting 15 players max against Aries, you'd all have something to gain, but also, a lot to lose. Who's up for it? |

but i would offer advise, 5ish players, setting up 5ish C3s twice a week, using shuttles to to make 10-20 stealth bombers runs at at a time, to run him out of ammo, and nuke defence, will take maybe 6 months of fighting, but he'd fall
a player like aries, of the excellent caliber he is, can only be taken down by equal caliber, piling on to the hulk, only makes him angry, its not a matter of numbers, but intelligence. its an internet game, its his brain that has made him the 800 pound sim-gorilla, not his assets

Its really about lower alpha male status in some peoples lives, wants to be better at the game then some people and have more then them and rule simcountry. Thats why hes calling out everyone to battle Aries, its also a strength test for his superior to see how strong he really is as well who else is really strong, as well as hold power to whom is challenging his superior:
"you accept MY challenge and fight Aries?"
even if he cant fight them or be tough really, Aries can.
Power trip, everyone sees as theyre to weak to fight the contender Aries and and dont think about the mans power trip over another mans power. Really similar to getting an asset grant and really taking it for granted. He dident work for all that just got it all, acts like a pro at the game.
But really, why else did sunnyknight feel the need to flex Aries like this??????why did you sunnyknight? its probable your his secretary doing under-table favors for him,or you must be power tripping off someone elses power.
Its really just sad how people cause problems and try to be disruptive to harm others. The same with the throwing away his assets post, just a disruption not for the better of the game but just to stir people up, why else the need to post about it and not just close the shitty account? He plays fourm games too much, why he lacks being good at the real game. |

There is a misunderstanding here. Sunny isn't my messenger or anything like that. This thread was started after I had a conversation with Sunny in chat. Essentially, he was wondering about lack of PvP wars and why large players seem to avoid war. I told him I wasn't really avoiding war but I lacked enemies and for me to start trouble on my own would be like picking on players.
He floated a question about what would happen if some coalition of players attacked me. I told him no grouping of such players was likely and he then started this thread. The thread itself was not my idea and I avoided it until now, only posting at this time to clear up some apparent confusion. |

Also due to my computer being out cant really war on my mobile device as one can on a computer.Like this time i had a c3 bend to my will due to my air wings and all i had to do was transport a land unit and paint the map sadly war was over before i could do such a thing.On the up side i shall keep building either untill i get a new pc or gamemaster makes updates on the mobile side in which one can war just as good as on a computer |

This is a pretty dead thread. What's new you ask? Well, since I've been here nothing much honestly. Mostly quiet. Most of the super powers on simcountry are asleep, but they're here watching. Waiting. I believe Aries power influence has scared off other super powers from doing war against weaker players honestly. That's just my assumption. However on FB there seems to be some problems on the horizon, I don't really know the story because I'm not involved. However I will be once the wars begin...
The largest war in the last year was Aries vs Whiteboy. I do not know the clear victor. It seems they're at peace right now, but that may change soon.
There are also a few vulnerable large empires. Vulnerable as in their economy has collapsed... Check around, gain assets. Go for the kill on one of the former sleeping super powers who've neglected their country upkeep.
Recently I've been seeing a lot of new econ powers however. The game is starting to lean more into econ from war overall in my observation, but it has always been this way... just less war now. A lot of players staying under wl3 and growing their empires. Annoying? Yes.
I've become a country salesman lol, however no one is buying since gc is hard to come by apparently. I've probably made around 1500gc off selling countries ranging in population from 50-295 million population. People need to use space more. I really encourage players to invest more in space trade. If more players got involved in selling and buying on space, trade would become more competitive which is good for the buyers and sellers as the sellers can sell more and the buyers are more motivated to buy cheap off space. Some products on space are cheaper in gc from their SC$-GC conversion. Now it's pretty simple the larger players have been using space as a way to indirectly use SC$ to gain gc. Through material assets. I haven't been seeing much buying from those who sell. It seems one sided more or less. Which is what it is I assume. So if you're looking for some cheap stealth bombers and laser guided bombs, and other hard-to-come-by weapons check space.
From all that, it seems pretty quiet around these parts, but there is a lot of silent activity going on. |

I remember back in early 2008 seeing players stealing countries off doods that for what ever reason could not log on for X amount of time so could not fight back.
Yes we could spend X amount of Gold on War protection while players were away....but it was/is not cheap.
Thinking about it....I wonder if players put the effort in to steal and war back in the day because there was the aim of getting big enough to cash out???? Does anyone know anyone who has cashed out???

Why come out of WL3 and have to become an addict to the game just so you can get to sleep at night?
WL's (from what I can see) were kinda there to protect the learning noobs from eagle eyed vets. And to protect the sleeping vets from lion hearted noobs.
But protection can also lead to lack of reason to log on and play.

To answer Nix question, I knew a bunch of people that used to cash from the game in the former setup. It was in small increments from what I understand. But they were honored requests from what I can remember. I cashed out quite a bit on my own independently. I know that was a huge lure for players. I guess I can understand why GC exchange is one way now. |
