The Investment Funds

The investment fund functionality is improved and the page in the finance section is showing what happens.

The investment fund is now showing in more details. You can see what is coming in, spending and the amount paid out to the workers in the country.

Currently, the payout amount is said to be based on the total value of the fund but it is based on the cash in the fund. This will be corrected in the following game update in a week.

Tuning

The percentage of the payout will be increased gradually to make the fund payment more substantial.

More updates to come:

If a fund is running out of cash, it will sell some of its shares.

Amounts going into the fund, paid by the population will be reduced a bit in the coming updates.

The amounts paid to the population will be added to the income before tax. They will now result in an increase of the tax income for the country. We will have to wait and see how large these contributions will be.

In the near future, the investment fund might decide on its own to support the country financially, if the country is in a very bad financial shape. The exact conditions will be published later.

As before, the president has not much power in the fund and is unable to move cash from the fund into the country.

The investment funds in each world have a lot of cash and could buy 100% of the shares of all public corporations, 10 times over.

With more payouts to the workers in the countries, amounts may decline slowly, some shares will be sold and we might end up with a larger part of the fund assets invested in the market.

To stimulate such investment, funds will start paying a fee for the fund management, which will depend on the fund cash.

such a feature will not be implemented for some time. Currently, even if they try, the funds will not be able to invest their cash in the market.

At some point in the future they will be able to do so and will be stimulated to make it happen.
