Jackwagen | Monday, July 21, 2014 - 08:41 pm How long does it take for a country with an inactive president to free up.... I've been waiting for about 3 months now |
Katman 2002 | Monday, July 21, 2014 - 10:42 pm Thats weird it does not take that long most of the time. |
Orbiter | Monday, July 21, 2014 - 10:50 pm some countries are reserved, at least they where doing that for a while, when a new player would reg a country, the GM would reserve one of its boarder countries for expansion, maybe thats what going on? |
Jackwagen | Tuesday, July 22, 2014 - 01:12 am No I border him already I'm talking about his main.... I'm pretty sure he hasn't logged on..... It said inactive for a month and then after that month ended it didn't say anything and I've been waiting for another 2 months now I think |
Jackwagen | Tuesday, July 22, 2014 - 01:13 am It would be great If the country freed up on my birthday which is coming up.... Maybe the GM could ban this guy for my birthday present |
blah Blah | Tuesday, July 22, 2014 - 11:51 am It also depends on wheter he was a paying member. If you have a subscription they reserve your country a lot longer. My aoount expired but they kept all of my (at the time) 15 countries reserved for me. So when I came back 5 weeks later I could just log on and keep on playing. |
Jackwagen | Wednesday, July 23, 2014 - 06:28 am No it's a free member |
erichughes523 james | Thursday, October 9, 2014 - 10:26 pm How do you go about buying Population with gold coins for one's country? |

erichughes523 james | Sunday, October 12, 2014 - 04:25 pm Is their any way to set up an multiple attacks by two different companies on one target? And can you set it to attack at the same time? If so how? Or better yet, is there any pages that go into how too(war), that explain in depth. |
Orbiter | Sunday, October 12, 2014 - 04:29 pm try the beginners forum, for such questions, not really sure what your asking, tbh |
erichughes523 james | Sunday, October 12, 2014 - 05:38 pm Not enough Info there! Lets say, I start a war. Now when I'm in the war page, I can only seem to be able to send one fighter unit in to hit their Offensive Interceptors! Is there any way to send both fighter units at the same time on the target? |
hymy | Sunday, October 12, 2014 - 05:53 pm NO |
erichughes523 james | Sunday, October 12, 2014 - 05:55 pm I tried twice to take the C4 country next to me. I've read the (win war in 10 minutes) over and over again, to no avail! I'm doing good with running the Country, everything is good, real good! I just need more Info to read on the subject war,(other then what I found) more in depth! |
erichughes523 james | Sunday, October 12, 2014 - 05:58 pm And thanks', that kind of sucks! |

erichughes523 james | Tuesday, October 14, 2014 - 11:30 pm I'm good, found it! |
erichughes523 james | Thursday, October 16, 2014 - 09:04 pm Cant find how to set up Fortification, Direction please. |
Rage Fury | Thursday, October 16, 2014 - 09:42 pm Buy it, wait for month change and then you have it. May have to adjust settings on your map to actually see it, depending... Then you can Garrison it from the war page. |
Andy | Friday, October 17, 2014 - 09:23 pm if the country has a president who is a full member, his countries will not "become available" until the full membership is expired and several weeks after. If not a full member, inactivity for several weeks will make the country available. there are repeated mail messages warning the players of a possible loss of countries. We do not like to destroy account so we take some time to allow players to come back. |
erichughes523 james | Saturday, October 25, 2014 - 05:49 am how do you get rid of a privet corporation out of one's country?
|
Andy | Saturday, October 25, 2014 - 01:03 pm You can nationalize it for a large amount of game money. You can also use settings to refuse private corporations. but: You should instead try to get all your corporations to be private. private corporations are contributing much more money to the country than state corporations. the most profitable accounts in Simcountry are ones that have a large number of private corporations. |
Andy | Saturday, October 25, 2014 - 01:05 pm Communist countries used to have all state owned corporations. they failed. Nearly all the world industry if privately held or traded on the stock exchange as public corporations. |
Jackwagen | Saturday, October 25, 2014 - 08:37 pm state<private<enterprise owned Public<State owned public |
Andy | Sunday, October 26, 2014 - 01:29 am I removed some irrelevant confusing texts to make this clearer. Jackwagen is right. but the main advantage is between stare and private. Private corporations also pay taxes but in addition, they pay a percentage of the TURNOVER to the owner (in this case the country). As a result, their contribution to the country is much higher than the contribution of state corporations. |
Jackwagen | Sunday, October 26, 2014 - 02:24 am well it doesnt matter what percent they contribute because you can always jack up taxes to 75% anyways.... all that matters is profitability the difference between the quality and effectivity upgrades of state and private and private and public is the same (25) state run public corps have the added benefit of being state run meaning you don't have to rely on a CEO |
hymy | Sunday, October 26, 2014 - 03:11 am AHHHH damnit Jackwagon.... I get it now. I can't believe I never made that connection before. It's so effing obvious, now. So IPO your state run corps, sell all the shares, and jack up the tax rate. You get the extra quality, keep the cash from the stock sells, and all the profit too. Meanwhile the shareholders are left holding the sack and you laugh all the way to the bank. Now I just hafta decide if I'm that evil, ... yeah probably. That should be in manual, I hope somebody gets to read this before andy deletes it. |
Orbiter | Sunday, October 26, 2014 - 03:12 am i still want hymy to see that i agreed with his confusing message, at least mostly |
hymy | Sunday, October 26, 2014 - 03:48 am I saw it. |
Orbiter | Sunday, October 26, 2014 - 04:29 am this thread has been totally hijacked, jackwagen, i'm sorry i'll tell you, i started out playing this game, being a good guy, collecting monthly income, buying stuff, growing i had a fed mate that swiped his card to buy top-notch countries, he was the best in the world, but myself, with 4 dollars a month, I was second rate. to be top notch, i had to be better in game, and i was getting their. i made the move that would eventually make me, well, me as i am, he was jealous, and booted me from the fed, it was my darkest time in sc, but if i didn't take that step, i'd have been in WGC when they got beat, by.. well, by me and my allies, lol (nod to WB, Beast, keto, EC, budman, slade, lalabear and especially, Serpent, i'm still gratefull to share this with you guys) point is, you must try to learn the game beyond monthly income, until you do, you'll be second rate Josias Jorvick aka Orbiter |
Orbiter | Sunday, October 26, 2014 - 05:06 am July 30 3416, a Large Earth Quake occurred in Phoenix Summit. The Large Earth Quake was felt in your country as well. not like the GM has a way of talking |
erichughes523 james | Sunday, October 26, 2014 - 11:35 am Thanx's for the info! |
Jackwagen | Sunday, October 26, 2014 - 05:33 pm lol I think you got it hymy but you can still keep up to 24% percent of your shares which is helpful in case some CEO decides to buy up share takeover your corp and shut down production..... You'll want to get allies to invest in your corps with their IFs or you can do it with your slaves.... Also another thing I personally like to do is raise taxes which sends the share price down... Buy as much shares as I can... Lower taxes to boost share value again and re sell the shares |
hymy | Sunday, October 26, 2014 - 06:00 pm That's a nice touch, on the concept. I like it.
|
Jackwagen | Sunday, October 26, 2014 - 07:30 pm where is your country located hymy you should join my federation |
