Andy | Tuesday, May 6, 2014 - 05:17 pm The next upgrade will include a major change to our co-marketing program. while until now, a player received $ 10 for every premium member she/he brought in with any marketing activity, the new program will pay 25% of all revenue generated by your marketing activities. both initial and follow up payments. the program is open for everyone. Free players, premium players and even people who are registered but are not playing. The program is very easy to join and understand. It provides you with your own unique ID and will report all the activity and results you generate by daily reports by mail. The "Marketing Simcountry" page will be updated within several days. |

Andy | Wednesday, May 7, 2014 - 10:36 am There are many who participate in the current program. we will convert them to the new program and will award them for future contributions for any accounts that result from their marketing actions. |
The_Wicked_Lady | Wednesday, May 7, 2014 - 03:18 pm Well the best marketing campaign for any product or service is word of mouth! Great idea, Andy. This promotes a type of family atmosphere to grow a game that is loved and enjoyed by many and for many years. |
Presidium | Thursday, May 8, 2014 - 03:23 am How can one get started in the current program now? Im looking forward to the 'simcountry marketing page' |
T Mac | Thursday, May 8, 2014 - 05:01 am seems to me like 25% for life is awfully generous. I think any you could easily give less away while achieving the same result. if you were to advertise a "percentage of all revenue generated" you could get the same results while not putting out the same cash. paying out 1/4th of the revenue for life is a lot. Every time I re-up at 24$ you are out $6.00 reducing my value by $12/year for membership. While a referral business is necessary you might want to consider how to re-up more efficiently before giving out 1/4th of all future revenues. I say this not as a criticism of your business acumen, but rather as a premium player who understands the value I get for my money. You all should make money off this venture and the work you do. That is why I buy in. That is also why I would suggest surveying your players for more info in order to make a clear business decision. For example what is the level of cost that will bring in more of the players who are currently playing regularly but don't pay anything? What price point would get them in and keep them in, to the point where you might be able to up-sell them some premium upgrades, people transfers, boosters or other packaged products? |
Andy | Thursday, May 8, 2014 - 10:24 am T mac I agree. 25% is very high but after not doing much in that direction for a long time, we decided to make a very good offer and attract many. Depending on results, and on the interest world wide (we will offer this to many), we might in the future reduce the percentage for NEW members. Anyone who joins the program and we have promissed her/him a certain percentage, will remain at that percentage even if the program may change in the fture for newcomers. |
Andy | Thursday, May 8, 2014 - 10:26 am The system will be upgraded today and offer the new program. The existing program will be upgraded and anyone who participated in the marketing before will have the new conditions. this upgrading of the past, may not be completed today. In that case, it will be completed in the coming days. |
