| Monday, December 30, 2013 - 05:07 am Good bye Jan. Dear SimCountry, We have lost a wonderful member of our sim community. Jan was on my closest friends. We had each other's back. Shared laughs. And most importantly, worked TOGETHER. She formed Bad Meets Evil on LU, with the support of Bobo, Hydra and I. Even though with the war decs from the butch (Wendy) we still worked TOGETHER. We were LOYAL to each other. Bad Meets Evil was formed based upon LOYALTY and working TOGETHER. Something most federations don't have. That's what made Bad Meets Evil stand out. Anyway, SimCountry lost a very good player. Did you ever hear a person that didn't know Jan? Of course not! Everyone knew her! She was always in chat. That's how I met her. People, including I, would go into chat just to see her. No other reason. She IS the reason why chat was doing good for awhile. Cause she was here. Telling everyone to get into chat. Unfortunately, several members, whom she thought as a friend betrayed her. I pity them players and hope your ass rots in hell. That just shows how much you care about your friends and fed mates. So be warned to not trust anyone. They could just turn around and stab ya in the back. What threw her over the edge was a person whom she thought as a great friend on whom she can trust. Instead he stabbed her in the back by aiding a person who has used not so nice words towards her. I guess people will never know how to keep their nose where it doesn't belong. Eh. Finally, I think SimCountry took a big loss by loosing Jan. I bet you not, chat will decline in activity. Watch. She is the only reason why have chat. Yet y'all idiots let her go. She was a great friend. She cared for a lot of people, as friends. She tried to help as much as she could, but I guess people just too jealous of the situation and put Jan on the spot, which is weak and childish. Good bye Jan. You will be missed!

It absolutely amazes me the lengths that players go in an online game, the things that they say to each other, the lies, the mind games. I donât get this type of mindset. I guess what Iâm trying to say is that the quality of players and game loyalties have greatly diminished, in my opinion. My membership was to have expired January 14, 2014. I was staying on to visit and chat with game friends and help Nico with BME on WG. For all my efforts in this game, over the last two weeks, I have been declared on by Hydra members, a federation that I have whole heartedly supported since its inception. The ONE player in this game, a Hydra member, that I always adored and looked up to, considered my game friend and mentor - he even in my last days stabbed me in the back (this player being Aries), but Iâm supposed to accept that because âit is just a gameâ oh and I âam leavingâ. I had honestly thought about staying, but there is nothing to stay for. Prior to that, another so called friend that I spent hours with on the phone to help him in a bad time in his real life, decides the next day to take down my entire federation. Iâm sorry, game or no, this is NOT my definition of a friend. :S The final straw for me was Aries, and thus why I have closed my account in this game. This time I am done with the game, and I'm not even coming back to visit. This has honestly killed whatever heart I had left for the game. The most galling part is I had asked Aries to come to WG months ago and help me fight TheWhy and Wolfker and the bunch for things that some of them said. He never would. But, Nico, did lead the war effort against them, and Jackseptic was willing to come help me. But not Aries. Now Aries, my so-called âfriendâ, decides at this point to come to WG, not on the side of his game ally and friend, but to join TheWhy, Ian Cameron, and Wisco (another game traitor) in a war against my federation (BME), his federationâs allied fed and Nico, who is even in his federation Hydra. It finally dawned on meâ¦â¦â¦Aries is obviously on the side of the game that I find distasteful and I have been played the fool. He is a TRAITOR and doesnât know the meaning of being loyal or an ally or friend in a game. Well I was told by Wendy that I was âthe gameâ around here. Well, I honestly leave this game actually believing her.

IMO aries would be amazing on the next season of big-brother tv show, the man knows how to be clever & form the right alliance to survive as he proved with joining HYDRA. I doubt he is 50% loyal to anyone he uses others to get himself up & above his friends he's out for #1,& even if he destroys BME, u think he will just stop there? this is how it is nico just accept it, in the gaming world everybody cares about only one damn thing & that #1. So nico it's best to just erase these people from your mind, they're not worth it bro.

| Tuesday, December 31, 2013 - 04:24 am Simcountry is an interesting game. There are a handful of set goals (game levels, war levels, rankings) but those are achievable early in a Simcountry experience. Beyond that, I find that I need to set my own goals to progress and keep interested in the game. I have worked on increasing profits, growing my military, working on my investment funds, and other things to see tangible ways in which I improve my holdings in the game. Beyond that, I enjoy sharing much of what I have learned. I have helped a number of players, regardless of faction, friend or foe, with uncovering secrets and important facts about the game. Something that has eluded my Simcountry experience is a large federation war. Despite the NLUO hype, they were never a match to the might of Hydra. I have, also, not found my match in single combat and, at this point, I feel that opportunity will not present itself in the near future. So, I see a federation take large losses on another world. I see both an opportunity to share my knowledge of warfare and setup, what is lacking in Simcountry, a world with two legitimate opposing sides. This is a game. It sounds fun. Now. The question. What is more correct? One who pursues what they enjoy about the game or one who attempts to dictate the play of another player? Whatever Jan may think of me, Hydra was created on the premise of being able to pursue whatever game course you choose. It rejected a "world government" that tried to impose its own set of rules. In my interpretation, I am continuing to abide by its principles. Jan, who is used to a top down and controlling fed, fails to understand this. Now Sosa. I will give you a pass this time and forgive your newbness. Hydra members do not cling to survival by their fed, as some do. They are legitimate powers in their own right. Woe to the federation that mistakes a Hydra member's commitment to their friends as a sign of their weakness!

Hydra was not founded to bring peace, but to allow room for drama, that a controlling fed could not offer. if every one agreed, and got along, their wouldn't be a need for the war game. many people would enjoy that, and they already can at WL2, like myself. but to be able to call on immeasurable allies, and expecting every one to get along... removes any need for personal growth. it is the pendulum of power. it will swing back and forth, on either extreme end, that is total domination by any in-game philosophy, it restrict options. you can not have heroes, with out villains, and if you wash them all out, by siding with all the best players, it only causes the in-game skill to decay. Hydra, was meant to strengthen each member. Rather than control, or dominate, its goal was to make each member, the best they could be. Certainly, Aries deserves a salute in that regard!

I thought every hydra member would have more knowledge of the game to NOT help aggressors. I guess not  Also, why would Aries help a player on whom he called a player a cunt, bitch, etc.? Why? Why? | Wednesday, January 1, 2014 - 05:58 pm and as far as Jan quiting, jeese, that happens like every 6ish months. for some reason, their is always some one calling her names. and it always bothers her, and she always quits, and she always comes back. i've gone rounds with her, and even attacked Bobo because she choose to talk allot, while being in protection. After, because i regretted going after Bobo, for something he had nothing to do with, and he was inactive at the time, i was going to give countries back, after i fixed them up, but could never hook up with Bobo to return the countries. which led to even more hostility. frankly, i'm stunned that she even had a country that could be attacked! quite the dramatic improvement! But thats part of it, you can not expect the reward, with out the risk And if their is risk, by definition, you can loose. W/O being on the in, i can't say that any one was right or wrong. But considering that i've got quite the history with Jan, and whats written here, it strikes me as the happy family is just upset that they can't ally with anyone/everyone that is capable of defeating them. Thats how this comes across to me. But like i said, i don't really know. Ask Aries. But i sounds like he's already stated his position.

Jan has been nothing but a good friend to me and has done everything for me as a friend and as a game mate. I don't think sh is too far off in how game allies and federation members should be. What I feel sorry the most for Jan is she really cared about many of you on a personal level, and yet all of you have played her to the point of leaving for good. I still say it is a sad day for Simcountry. She brought many laughs and a lot of fun to this game for me and I am sure others. Jan never pretended to be anything more than a social player. She really did care about the people here. There are just some people that no matter what just can't be cared about. They would sell out a friend over a game. So sad., I have told her what you said Josias. Her reply was for me to just drop it and let it go. It doesn't matter any more. I don't want to drop it. I think all of you suck. I will say it again, the game has lost something really special.

| Wednesday, January 1, 2014 - 09:56 pm Been quietly reading the thread and staying away but I feel some fact clarifications are needed. Jan made the latest decision to leave the game before I made the decision to come to WG. Like her latest comments to Josias, I got the "well, this is just one more reason" line. There can be no betrayal/treason or the like on my part both since my understanding is she was leaving the game and I have never been a member of her fed (though, as with other feds, I assisted her fed with advice and guides). As to her being a Hydra supporter, why wouldn't she? I was doing everything she would want me to. I have repeatedly defeated her primary game adversary who was threatening and attacking her fed members. She appreciated I created a balance to power then. As Josias said, it isn't fun when all the powerful players band together for good or ill. As for Nico being in Hydra on a different world , no offense, but any player with a pulse gets an invite to Hydra on FB. Funny thing is an aggressive move by Nico almost got Jan involved in a war with the entire Hydra fed there in the last month. As for my coming to WG, my intention is to assist with the creation of a fed to rival with BME. I don't intend to take a lead role militarily, as I think this would be too easy, but we will see and Nico's comments are not helping him.
