Equinox | Thursday, October 17, 2013 - 03:33 pm Could we please have more development in the game on the economic side i.e. having our own country currency that could be pegged to the simcountry dollar. We could have inflation then and currency exchanges within simcountry. |
VladminirPutin | Thursday, October 17, 2013 - 08:28 pm I'm agree with your idea, Equinox!! GM: I support Equinox idea. |
Lotato | Thursday, October 17, 2013 - 09:17 pm As well as realistic economic growth measures like GDP , national interest rates , exchange rates like what Equinox said , more realistic balance of payments and national deficit and foreign cash reserves etc etc All this will not be so difficult to add and would make the economic game more productive and comprehensive! |
Lotato | Thursday, October 17, 2013 - 09:17 pm i think we should start votes about these stuff! |
Aries | Thursday, October 17, 2013 - 09:25 pm These ideas need to be more developed. Game suggestions need more than a sentence or two. You must explain how they would work. How they would interact with other game features. etc. |
Star Foth | Thursday, October 17, 2013 - 10:49 pm I made a well thought-out transportation contribution suggestion. Wheras roads don't contribute much, railroads pay for a large bit and water treatment profits a small amount, but only up to 110% needed so you don't end up building 30000 treatment facilities for major profits. |
Star Foth | Friday, October 18, 2013 - 12:19 am That and also replace monthly ammo consumption with training equipment. I mean really, why use live grenades when you can use cheap smoke bombs, why waste fighter missiles and helo missiles when you can VR, and why actual AA missiles and not just teach them how to use the program, why do they need to fire, when they can just blank fire. I know arms corps need to make money, but why not have the C3s/ghost consumers pick up the consumption to balance it. :/ @Aries, if there's something missing/imbalanced about my suggestions, just let me know. :/ |
SuperSoldierRCP | Friday, October 18, 2013 - 07:44 pm Ive ALWAYS said that C3's should take all there weapons an ammo from the market 1 - war level 11 C3 uses 11700 interceptors 880000 inter-missiles 5850 Helicopters 440000 heli missiles That means it would take 90 corps of interceptors(based them make 130inters a year) 88 corps of inter-missiles(based them make 10000 inters a year) 45 corps of helicopters(based them make 130helis a year) 44 corps of helis(based them make 10000inters a year) |
Alterd Carbon | Sunday, October 20, 2013 - 12:20 am With inflation and econ ajustments in my countries a loaf of bread would cost $20 not to mention gas ok so I guess I make my own gas as you can see I do ware a mask. If only I could bottle it. (when I find a way invest in beans) |
Andy | Sunday, October 20, 2013 - 08:34 am Having your own currency could add a lot to the game. We have considered it in the past and it is on our wish list for a long time. Such a feature could add a lot of complexity to the game and make it more difficult to follow exactly what happenes. We could have even more people saying they are losing cash while others may say nothing while their cash is surging. It is also very difficult to implement because your own currency will be easy to manipulate, up and down with all possible conequences. There are also very interesting aspects to this feature and we will keep it in mind. |
Laguna | Monday, October 21, 2013 - 04:02 am We aren't computers. Don't do it. |
Equinox | Monday, October 21, 2013 - 04:52 am We are computers because we compute information in our minds. Do it. |
claude balls | Monday, October 21, 2013 - 10:47 am This is level of complexity i don't think the game needs... |
Equinox | Monday, October 21, 2013 - 03:09 pm I would like a little bit more complexity especially on the economic side of the game. |
Tonyw | Monday, October 21, 2013 - 05:39 pm I like it.. it will give each country more of an image and will certainly add more fun on the economic side of the game |
Aries | Monday, October 21, 2013 - 06:57 pm I am with Laguna and Claude, I don't think the game needs this and would prefer other things. |
The_Wicked_Lady | Monday, October 21, 2013 - 07:15 pm Yes, I am with Aries, Laguna, and Claude. I prefer other things........like PINK TANKS!!!!!!! |
Equinox | Monday, October 21, 2013 - 09:22 pm Can't you forgo your broomstick just for once Wicked Lady? |
Jack | Monday, October 21, 2013 - 11:01 pm This design your own currency adds no value to the game and in fact would complicate things. Let's allow the GM to work on all the many things which are needed and already promised. I do agree with Star Foth's suggestion about a transportation contribution. I especially like the suggestion about training ammo/equipment. It is an excellent idea that could really help a country's economy. Unfortunately it has been brought up many times and the GM never seems interested in doing it. |
XON Xyooj | Tuesday, October 22, 2013 - 05:21 am more currencies = more players' manipulations = more confusions |
Andy | Tuesday, October 22, 2013 - 07:36 pm To date, we have concluded that it will be too complex. there are no immediate plans to make it. there are indeed more urgent matters. |
The_Wicked_Lady | Tuesday, October 22, 2013 - 09:46 pm @ Andrew's "there are indeed more urgent matters." I KNOW he's talking about my pink tanks! and vast amounts of Shoe Corporations!!! To me that is TOP priority. :P |
The_Wicked_Lady | Tuesday, October 22, 2013 - 09:50 pm @ Lee's/Equinox's "Can't you forgo your broomstick just for once Wicked Lady?" Sorry Kiddo.........it serves a dual purpose. 1. I prefer to drive a stick. 2. It is useful in addition to shoes to knock sense into young rapscallions like your self when you get uppity!!! :P |
XON Xyooj | Tuesday, October 22, 2013 - 10:09 pm hmmm.....my messenge truncated oh well....please let's get all the basics of this game working properly first before moving to the advance features such as this one. each world does not need as many currencies as there are countries, the current three moneys in this game is confusing enough already! |
