Corporations never place immediate orders but players are able to replace corporate orders by immediate ones.
In the past, such replacements could result in a direct delivery or in many cases, they did not result in such a fast delivery.
With the new immediate orders system, corporate orders can be replaced by immediate orders that will be delivered directly in ALL cases. The corporations can be supplied and will restart production immediately after the materials are delivered.
This is a good improvement.
However, you should realize that the price of the products is higher.
In some cases, it makes more sense to leave the materials order unchanged and place a new, immediate order, for a smaller amount of product that will allow the corporation to operate for a month or two while waiting for the original order to be delivered. |
