Andy | Friday, June 14, 2013 - 09:54 am - Base maintenance products will be used in the maintenance of all bases and fortifications. High quality of the products substantially reduces the number of products needed. The reduction is steeper than the increase in cost of the higher quality. Other maintenance costs of military bases have been reduced substantially. - The war index contributes more to the score. - The war level contributes more to the score. - The base score is slightly reduced. - The requirement for the war index when moving up the game levels is increased. - The war index now depends for 50 points on the number of fortifications (up to 100). In the future (probably July), it will depend for 30 points on the number of fortifications (up to 150) and for 20 points on the number of military bases (up to 20). The quality of fortifications and military bases will influence their destructibility. - Navy maintenance products are added to Simcountry. The products can be produced now and will be used, starting with the next update. - Corporations now show more exactly the use of raw materials even if they are used in very small quantities. |
SuperSoldierRCP | Friday, June 14, 2013 - 10:36 am Andy with these additions comming for navy, when will navies see Q effects in weapons? They have been held back for some time due to this. Navy weapons are highly ineffective due to the fact there stuck @ 120. When vs weapons of 450+ Quality it makes them worthless. Also I know you said you where fixing the issue with corps not buying all goods for maintenance products. How will the game determine how many of these units we need a month? |
Andy | Friday, June 14, 2013 - 01:01 pm We said that quality will matter with all products. It is now moving forward. give it some time. as to numbers, after next weeks update, numbers will start showing up. Corporations will be created, quality will increase and it will become very clear. we also look at the market. |
SuperSoldierRCP | Saturday, June 15, 2013 - 08:10 am I only ask becuase it was promised a very long time ago, is seems like you might have forgotten or even sidetracked the Navies. --------------------------------------- Some of the text was removed because it was confusing and not relevant. This is about updates on June 18. |
Andy | Saturday, June 15, 2013 - 06:21 pm In additon to the news: Navy maintenance products can be produced and will be used starting June 18. Airforce maintenance products will be produced too. They might be used immediately but some types of airplanes may start using these products a week later. The new maintenance products fall into the HighTech group. The corporations are large and very profitable. You need to be in game level 4 to build them. All enterprises can also build such corporations. |
Andy | Sunday, June 16, 2013 - 06:30 pm Both navy maintenance products and air force maintenance products will be introduced on June 18 and will be used immediately. |
Crafty | Sunday, June 16, 2013 - 07:56 pm But we are making war cheaper... |
Andy | Sunday, June 16, 2013 - 10:09 pm do you see any connection? was is much cheaper and becomes even cheaper. In my previous message I said that the cost will replace other maintenance cost. |
Devils Halo | Monday, June 17, 2013 - 12:38 am Hey Andy, quick question if you don't mind..I must be blind, but I can't find the "Navy Maintenance" in the "High Tech"..maybe I read your message wrong, I though we could start building them today. If not no big deal..thanks |
SuperSoldierRCP | Monday, June 17, 2013 - 09:28 am Andy I have no dout that the GM is working to make the war side cheaper. Craftys comment and mine follow the same lines. Our problem is in the quest to make them cheaper to "seems" like its become expensive. If i may show you the facts A single interceptor unit = 9750 missiles default. Based that you pay the "BASE" price on LU each missile = 6.3M per missile 9750 * 6.3 = 61.4Billion theres now way to dispute that fact. 61.4B per wing @ 120Q?If i where to use all 700B spending space in one month, buying missiles at 6.3M per i would only be able to buy 11wings of ammo. 11wings is NOTHING when compared to a PvP war, C3 have more in base wars then that. If the GM wants to help, you guys need to REALLY need to look into production increases in these corps. The markets are all in the reds and theres little to go around. It takes 10K missiles to make a wing, but the corp only makes 1K??? that seems very off balance. It would take me 10corps and all there production to make 1wing of ammo. If the GM where to increase production 200/300% it would allow us as players to build a military faster and cut on the spending costs. I work with new players all the time the BIGGEST reason most dont move up the War Levels is the overall cost. Once they get to lvl 2 and learn they can be attacked and start buying ammo they stop moving up because of the costs. Increasing production from 1000->3000 would cut the price from 61B to 20B. The same with weapons it would allow players to build faster militarys and would help with self suffiency. You would be able to keep all stats the same and nothing other then the overall costs would decrease. PS Dont think i dont notice the work you've done. You know im the first to shout of whats wrong but i have seen the change in the war game. Ive noticed the large increases in tank/artillery production and tweaks in those areas, dont think it hasnt gone unnoticed. The vets only speak from wisdom. Its my job to educate the new guys. But its your job to see we have the gamming ability to do that. The vets speak not as players but as people who care about SC. If i didnt like this game or the people here i wouldnt have spent 4years and countless amounts of money. |
