Andy | Monday, December 10, 2012 - 11:28 am The navy is too weak when facing stealth bomber attacks. Missiles can be intercepted but if interceptors are too far to help, stealth bombers are not facing any serious threat when attacking the navy. This problem will be solved in the next update, tomorrow, Dec. 11. Defensive Navy Missile Batteries that are effective against other airplanes, will become effective against Stealth Bombers. The chance to hit a Stealth Bomber with a single missile is 2% but every battery uses up to 6 missiles in each counterattack and if there are many such batteries participating in the defense, the chance of hitting some of these stealth bombers becomes realistic. The weapons document is updated. The problem is reported by a player. |

Crafty | Monday, December 10, 2012 - 10:26 pm Can we upgrade DNMB to match the possible quality of stealth bombers please. |
SuperSoldierRCP | Tuesday, December 11, 2012 - 03:52 am Andy On the top of stealth bombers you stated "Several times" might i add that stealth bombers do not attack interecptors. Yet in C3 i put up airwings to defend and a counter attacking bomber wing would destory 40-50inters in a single battle even if they where of matching Q. Infact i even used a wing to attack interpectors and it provided some results. I even made a unit of Anti Air backed with interecptors. I lost 40-50interecptors + 100Anti air batteries and only destoried 5 stealth bombers. Please keep in mind that in the Upper warlevels(unlike in player wars) C3 send 2 units of stealth bombers which ONLY increase the amount of damage in C3 warring. I hope you can further investagiate this matter and let me know what the issue seems to be |
Crafty | Tuesday, December 11, 2012 - 12:47 pm Hey, soldier, can you rephrase that a bit, it's really unclear for an natural english speaker, lord knows what the GM makes of it. |
Andy | Tuesday, December 11, 2012 - 01:51 pm Thanks Crafy. It is unclear. who knows what I make of it indeed. I might have these stealth bombers fall into the sea when they are in sight of your country. No shots fired. Please make it clearer. but also take into account that we have seen players who reached game level 15, fighting these stealth bombers, suffering damage but prevailed. |
SuperSoldierRCP | Thursday, December 13, 2012 - 08:24 am Sorry I like to write my messages when im half asleep. What i was saying is that Andy stated Stealth bombers "DO" not attack Interecptors. Yet the evidence below proves otherwise. Infact i had a Long Range Division that was set up and attacking a target. Wouldnt the Stealth bombers be more effective by counterattacking the attacking unit? But back to the original point in case. Why bother adding interpetors as air defence to protect against stealth bombers when... #1 they are less effective then they should be #2 Stealth bombers in a war of attrition(cost wise) are always the winners. Players have to buy their weapons, as where C3 "MAGICLY" poof there massive militarys out of thin air. #3 Even when being attacking a second wing donest respond as it should making them even further less effective. My point being to andy is this must have been overlooked or gone unnoticed. If i have wings/targets being attacked C3/Player my wings should respond as they would to be a player. And in the upper war levels when C3 can use 2 wings at once it makes the battles more costly then they should. Even you andy stated several times that airforce is imporatant in all wars, yet i fail to see the importance it provides when trying to defend against these attacks -------Below is the cost of weapons and attack data------- Sep 19 3075. Long Range Division 'Oliver' attacks Airforce Stealth Bomber Wing 'Lemonhill'. The Democratic Union of Lenos bella (the attacked country) reports: •No weapon losses were reported. •The defence was assisted by the unit Brawa. Altair (the attacker) reports: •Oliver lost 1 offensive aa battery. •Oliver lost trucks, gasoline and military supplies. •The attack may have been reduced or eliminated by Anti Missile Missiles. •The weapons chosen were not effective in this attack. •2 soldiers were killed and 4 were wounded. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Airforce Stealth Bomber Wing Kudsa is responding with a counter attack on Defense Interceptor Wing Addison. Altair (the attacked country) reports: •Addison lost 39 interceptors. •Addison lost trucks, gasoline and military supplies. •68 soldiers were killed and 218 were wounded. The Democratic Union of Lenos bella (the attacker) reports: •Kudsa lost 6 stealth bombers. •Kudsa lost trucks, gasoline and military supplies. •The attack may have been reduced or eliminated by Anti Missile Missiles and the unit did not receive any ground support. •161 soldiers were killed and 349 were wounded. |
Kiss_of_Death | Thursday, December 13, 2012 - 03:54 pm Super, You have entirely tooooooooo much time on your hands. ha ha ha ha :P What's all those funky symbols? Are you keeping WORD files???? Sowwy. Couldn't resist. By the way, I hope you are settled in your new location. I bet you hated leaving Hawaii. There goes my free place to stay when I visit the Islands!!!! Danged US Army. SCOWL! |
Crafty | Thursday, December 13, 2012 - 08:46 pm Soldier, I would suggest that is a lesson to maybe have land units near your ints to provide ground support. The results against the SB may have been far greater, no? You dont say what your LRD was made of, but only AAMB would have any effect on the attacked SB wing and the wing was aided by unit Brava. What was brava, it obviously stopped most of your AA missiles. Just exercising my cobwebbed war brain, sorry, carry on soldier. |
