Tuesday, December 4, 2012 - 06:06 am I like the tamales.

Tuesday, December 4, 2012 - 03:43 pm I never got my Harley heritage softtail yet but I'm working on her indoors again this year. Lawdy, thanks Scarlet, reminding me of Tex-Mex grub, something it's nigh on impossible to get here. No 'special' trips to the UK planned this year Jan?

Tuesday, December 4, 2012 - 07:00 pm No, Crafty, I think that chapter of my life has ended. I wish Blueserpent well in whatever he is facing in his life and much happiness and joy. Last Christmas was by far a Christmas to remember. It was so great to see some of your holiday culture and what you have at a traditional holiday meal. Blue was a fantastic cook and host. I even got to see the lanterns that light up the sky on New Years. One day, when I figure out how, I will share some of that trip with all of you in photos and a link so you can all hear Rob singing. Maybe one day he will come back. Another special Christmas was with my husband Tim back when we first married. It was snowing outside, and as all of you know, I LOVE snow. There was a knock at our front door and we opened it to Christmas Carolers, a small group from a church across the way. I hadn't seen caroling since I was a kid. And of course all my Christmases with my family and friends. Those are by far the most precious holidays of my lifetime.

Tuesday, December 4, 2012 - 08:33 pm My wife and I always build a snow sculpture. We like to do characters from our Childhood, like Tom and Jerry, Bugs Bunny, and even some more modern ones, like Clifford the Big Red Dog. Then we always sit outside with our radio blasting holiday tunes, drinking cocoa and having fun with the neighbors.

Tuesday, December 4, 2012 - 08:54 pm We used to make snow cream...... now you are taking your life into your own hands if you eat snow. ha ha ha Crafty and Scarlet, what is the tex mex thing over there? I've never had mexican food for Christmas. I see you, Crafty, eating duck and plum pudding and the likes. lol

Tuesday, December 4, 2012 - 09:27 pm I don't know that Tex-Mex is particularly Xmasy, but I do often have a craving for it. It's not the same, making your own.

Tuesday, December 4, 2012 - 10:19 pm I suppose it is a great change after eating all da turkey!!!

Wednesday, December 5, 2012 - 01:03 am I always eat tamales at Christmas. I'm Mexican though so I imagine that has a lot to do with it.

Wednesday, December 5, 2012 - 02:23 am I like mexican food. I like all things spicy.

Wednesday, December 5, 2012 - 02:24 am unfortunately I do not celebrate the mainstream holidays is why I did not come to post in this thread. I don't want to be a scrooge in your thread, and mess up the warm and fuzziness.

Wednesday, December 5, 2012 - 02:34 am this is a thread for everyone, hezzy. da season is many things to many people, and i welsome you here. come have a seat by the fire and sip this hot cocoa. here, let me take your shoes.... he he he now prop up your feet and relax.

Wednesday, December 5, 2012 - 03:20 am Don't you touch my Clifford, Hezzy!

Wednesday, December 5, 2012 - 03:35 am thank you Kiss. I am touched.

Wednesday, December 5, 2012 - 03:44 am I was in Mexico a few days ago, never imagined you were from Mexico, Scarlet. The food is very good yes.

Wednesday, December 5, 2012 - 04:10 am The best part of the holidays is spending time with loved ones, indulging excessively in food and drink.....and indulging excessively in food and drink. In that order.

Wednesday, December 5, 2012 - 08:48 pm +1 for the Mexican food. Dunno why, but it also surprises me that Scarlet is a beaner. Yeah Hezzy, dont let your religion or beliefs exclude you from the spirit of the holiday season. Watch out for Loreleis hot cocoa though...yuck!!! (I think she uses rats milk).

Wednesday, December 5, 2012 - 09:02 pm ha ha ha ha ha ha ha Need only guard your shoes. I collect them and use them as weapons.

Thursday, December 6, 2012 - 03:26 am The wife and I have Baileys with coffee for 2 weeks everyday over the holidays

Thursday, December 6, 2012 - 03:46 am That is nice, Keto. Great moments!

Thursday, December 6, 2012 - 05:31 am I spend a little time, trying to convince my parents that there isn't a reason to celebrate a religious holiday they don't practice, to eventually budge spent a couple days at their house. We exchange gifts mine tend to be much much more extravagant for them letting me live there for 22 years. Last year I got them a 20 thousand dollar rental property. so this year I'm getting em socks. Then usually hitting up the bars to make all the lonely girls feel better about themselves.

Thursday, December 6, 2012 - 02:52 pm I should imagine meeting you would make all the lonely blokes feel better about themselves too.

Thursday, December 6, 2012 - 07:50 pm Oh yes spreading hope and adventure can help out loneliness quite well. But no worries if I met you I'd feel great and remeniscent that I'm not made of ticky tacky and I could still think all the same. =)

Thursday, December 6, 2012 - 09:18 pm So Drewcakes, when you gonna buy me something????

Thursday, December 6, 2012 - 10:04 pm Drew, you can't even put a coherent sentence together, let alone manage joined up thinking.

Friday, December 7, 2012 - 02:28 am To be clear, I'm ethnically Mexican, not personally from Mexico. Anyway, I'm not sure if it really matters that Christmas started out as a religious holiday... it's moved well beyond that for a lot of people. Way I see it, it's mainly an excuse to give gifts and visit relatives.

Friday, December 7, 2012 - 02:48 am I just want everyone to know that I am open to ALL sim gifts this holiday season! Tis the season of giving!!!! :P And to all of you, I give you many more years of shoe posts and death threats!!! Love and hugs to you all!!!

Friday, December 7, 2012 - 04:35 am I'll give you nukes.

Friday, December 7, 2012 - 05:29 am That was said in a joking manner btw

Friday, December 7, 2012 - 01:28 pm Every year, I give a lecture to my family about why the world will end the next year. Someday I will get it right.

Friday, December 7, 2012 - 03:43 pm I was gonna say, Tom Morgan, my shoes were prepped and ready to fire!!!! ha ha ha

Sunday, December 9, 2012 - 06:01 pm Hahaha Laguna, that must be a great Xmas evening sat around your family fireplace! Have you tried playing Twister or Charades instead :p (PS, simcountry, LG has a cabana boy at the top of his Christmas tree and decorates the tree with bananas.)

Monday, December 10, 2012 - 05:21 am My image of Laguna is this........ a man wearing a white puffy, frilly shirt. Wanna know why? Cuz the first link I ever opened from Laguna was such a picture of this shirt! And as for Laguna's annual holiday tradition, he might get it right this year, if all this Nostradumus, Countdown to Apocalypse/Armageddon and AntiChrist gunk I've been seeing all over the History Channel of late comes to pass 12/21/12!!!! ha ha ha

Tuesday, December 11, 2012 - 03:20 am I need more warm and fuzzy!!! Please post here!!!

Wednesday, December 12, 2012 - 03:38 pm How do you know these things, Crafty!?! Are you spying me? I bet there's a camera in one of the bananas... Can't even trust my own fruit anymore. And that's true, Kiss! Although, I swear, I don't remember why I even posted that... Were the words butt and pirate mentioned in that thread?

Wednesday, December 12, 2012 - 03:42 pm Well where you are concerned, there is just no telling what all was mentioned in that thread!!! ha ha ha ha I'm sure butts were involved and perhaps some curtains. Right now, my mental image of you is one who is black, chubby and bald. Wonders where I get that image??? ha ha ha ha

Wednesday, December 12, 2012 - 03:45 pm I have connections among the cabana boy fraternity ;)

Wednesday, December 12, 2012 - 03:53 pm News flash. I am not getting my Harley again this year BUT... I am getting a new 18V lithium ion cordless hammer drill driver, with 2 batteries I'll have you know. 48Nm, 1500rpm, 25,500bpm, 1.5Ah batts. Now there's a nice toy for Xmas. Anyone have a screw loose? wait...dont bother answering that.

Wednesday, December 12, 2012 - 05:23 pm Dun you even think of coming any where near me wif that drill!!!! I have to tell you this........ when I was married, I made the mistake of leaving my husband home alone with a drill. He got a notion to install a ceiling fan in my kitchen, which was sweet, mind you. BUT....... I came home to about 100 holes in my ceiling. I didn't even ask. I just confiscated the drill.

Wednesday, December 12, 2012 - 10:38 pm My tradition is to be away with christmas and new year preferably somewhere where i can only be reached by a 4 hour plane flight or more.

Thursday, December 13, 2012 - 03:21 am ........define 'threat'.

Thursday, December 13, 2012 - 03:55 pm You gonna airlift prezzies..... I took that to mean you might be airlifting troops and dropping them in my hometown on Sim!!! I felts kinda threatened for a moment. :P

Wednesday, December 19, 2012 - 06:15 am I just wanted to wish all of you a very Happy Holiday Season with your friends and loved ones. May all of you have a very happy and prosperous New Year as well. All my best, Jan

Wednesday, December 26, 2012 - 04:24 pm Well well, I leave and ALL warm and fuzziness leaves. *Sighs This lovely thread buried amongst all the crappy smack and irritable bowel syndrome threads. I'm sooooooooooo sad. All I see is fighting and smack in the forums. :-( I have noted one common denominator amongst it all. Some Pepto Bismol would be in order, me thinks! It's pink, soothing, and will fix those irritable bowels up in no time!!!! Go Pink!

Friday, December 28, 2012 - 03:42 pm Hahaha. But I'm sorry to have to tell you, pink wont do jack for IBS. Being a Crohns sufferer I can testify to that, though Crohns is not technically IBS blah blah blah... Go Remecide!

Friday, December 28, 2012 - 03:50 pm I downed a whole bottle of da pink yesterday, as I apparently caught IBS, and you are right. Doesn't work. I's still irritable. ha ha ha ha ha How was your Christmas, old man?

Friday, December 28, 2012 - 03:56 pm Heh, they didn't mean pink champagne Lorelei. Christmas was getting mobbed by the kids for me. New one due in a day or two! Salutations.

Friday, December 28, 2012 - 04:08 pm Congratulations!!!! Exciting times in the ol' Crafty household. What a special blessing for the upcoming New Year. If you get a chance, come visit me in chat. I promise to be nice and not throw a shoe at ya. ha ha ha
