Yuck, I also heard they use chicken protein or summit disgusting to get it to emulsify.
It still goes so well with a 1/4 pounder with cheese and fries tho'.
What is the simcommunity vote on the best national fastfood chain?
I don't like Burger king, expensive and the fries are terrible. The onion rings are good though.
McD's is 5 out of 10, at least you know what you'll get.
I used to favour Wendy's square burgers when I lived in California.
Of course there are far better independant one outlet operations.

I "used" to be a KFC kinda girl. :-( Now if a chicken ain't skinned and baked in my own personal oven at home it doesn't get eaten. Oooooooooooh life as I knew it IS over!!!! I HAVE to cook now!!!! Imma sick of gnawing on celery sticks and carrots too! ha ha ha OMG I really hate that I had to quit smoking! All of life's pleasures...... gone. Y'all wanna hear me whine some more?! ha ha ha

Dear Crafty,
The urge to smoke a cig is still there, trust me. Plus, I liked it. ha ha ha Every stressful moment, I feel like I should be "firing up". But when I am tempted, I just remind myself of the pain and the fear I went through with this surgery, and know that I was the baby in the recovery unit!!!! People do die from this surgery. A man in his 60s had his open heart surgery the morning of mine. He had a valve replaced. This man, his wife attended my pre-op class with me and they kinda took an interest in me, cuz I was so young. Before I went home from the Recovery Unit, I went to see him and swapped phone numbers. I called 2 weeks later to find out that he didn't make it. :-(
You know, it's been since June 21 since my surgery. I still have muscle and nerve pain from the procedure and am told it could be that way for up to six months or more. Stents were easy, which is what I had two years ago with my double heart attack and a year ago with another blockage. Well needless to say, I'm da hit of my morning cardio rehab class wif all da fellas. They all in their 60s and 70s and I'm the only "young" female in attendance. ha ha ha ha :P |

Yeah, I've had to give fast food a rest, too, for a while. KFC is still my favorite, i think, tho, extra crispy, oh maaannn... . Am getting ready for lap-band procedure, so I know what you mean, lorelei, about flinging away life's pleasures. I really miss my pipe; I didn't start smoking when I was young, I have heard from everyone that it is almost impossible to quit. Cigarettes, at least. About my only other indulgence is homemade espresso (lots of it!) from home-roasted beans from various locations around the globe, and a wee drop of homemade "other" from time to time. Getting older ain't for the weak, am I right? And youth is wasted on the young... |

I miss my party days in college. I got a taste of it wif Blueserpent over Christmas....hitting the strip of pubs down from where he lived. That was so much fun.
Prior to that the last time, I threw one on was at an 80s cover band concert here in Nashville. I ditched my 40 something friends and was dancin' and hangin' wif the 20 somethings! ha ha ha ha :P |
