KronicKilla | Wednesday, August 22, 2012 - 07:50 am Hey guys, I started a new enterprise a few days ago and shortly after noticed that my corporations were not turning a profit, I used to play years ago so I am a bit rusty still. After reading the forms I adjusted my trade strategies to follow product quality and start out at +100% market price, I sell all of my product. My salaries are all set at 275, so after researching I found that all my corporations are buying their products at "any quality" and were paying 3x the amount for the product. So I adjusted my quality to 160, problem solved...... Now to my question, I have all of these exspensive supplies in my corporations, if i were to buy them from my corporations with enterprise, i pay market price, then i could turn around and sell them back to my corporations at market price. I know this isnt fixing the cost of the supplies since I already over paid but it would adjust the amount spent on materials in my corporations would it not, and would bring my corporations to making profits. Thoughts please before I try this.... Thanks everyone! |
Crafty | Thursday, August 23, 2012 - 03:18 pm No no no. You will pay market price, *increased by the quality*, eg, electric at 100Q maybe 10billion/MW but at 200Q will be 20b/MW. Really, it would be best now you are buying at the quality you want, to let the high quality supplies work their way through, a few months and all your supplies will be down to 160Q as the high Q will get diluted. If you really wanted to hurry this up you could buy max amount (60 month worth) or each supply for each corp at Q120 right away, and the quality, hence cost, will be diluted immediately but unless you do alot of math to get it exactly right, the Q will jump around for quite a few months as the system tries to achieve the quality you have asked for. So basically, my advice: leave them buying at the new 160Q and the Q and cost of supplies will fall on its own over a few game months. Hope that helps. CC. PS, your post really should be on 'beginners' or 'help' topic. No worries tho ;) |
