Thursday, August 16, 2012 - 11:58 pm If only I knew what dubstep was I might have appreciated that. You like Dub Kasper, like the real mixed. heavy bass, reggae beat driven stuff?

Friday, August 17, 2012 - 12:00 am Its some kind of weird music

Friday, August 17, 2012 - 12:06 am What did the ocean say to the other ocean? Nothing they just waved. Did you sea what I did there? I’m shore you did, beach.

Friday, August 17, 2012 - 12:15 am Two snowmen in a field, one says to the other: "can you smell carrots?".

Friday, August 17, 2012 - 12:19 am Its good weird stuff man, but you need a really good quality amp and speakers up loud to feel, and I mean feel, the art. And very few silly word things to get in the way. Hey, if you did a johnny Cash cover, country done rap style, does that make it CRAP music... See what I did there?

Friday, August 17, 2012 - 12:38 am LMAO! Wow i never thought of that one! I knew there was something telling me to check my messages and forum once more! Try to keep that to yourself tho, i dont want that getting out. The songs pretty good tho. Imma post it on my music page when its mixed so people can hear it...but heres the first verse. Remember the songs Aint no Grave...so thats the concept i had a dream i died then rose from da grave lifted up to tha sky and seen tha road that i paved i seen jesus in tha distance saying its time 4 ascent i hope u payed attention to tha signs that i sent i ask 4 forgiveness, please let me return its still plenty things and lessons that a young a man can learn he said y should u, y should u not burn i told u be ready, but u wasnt concerned lord it aint no grave, can hold my body down This is also the begining of Kasper. The ghost returned from the dead. Everything has a concept to me. I rap alot about the paranormal. I used to be called Lil Quinn. Then i died became a ghost. Such as this other verse that displays that Here comes the vaticans dragon I spit flames off on rappers Tha public keep asking they say they lovin my music Hypnotized by my magic im more addicting than crack Blow this smoke like its babish, hoe get backed I have em hooked like cocaine My words potent as gold carots I DIED AND RETURNED A GHOST CROWN JEWEL ON A GOLD CHARIOT like a cult i got respect, call em my ministry goons think the cia watchin me yea they tappin my phones im a devil with a fiddle hourglass on the ass of a black widow The villian that kills the hero Leave wonder woman naked face down in a pillow ITs just punchlines, so dont take offense to the lil rape line at the end...its just u gotta have shock value to the things u say. Thats what its all about in the music game. ESPECIALLY BATTLING One time this dude battled me on stage talkin bout nothing but money...i found my shot and hit him with.... You talkin bout money, but bitch u aint rich U couldnt get rich if u sucked a gold Di$k HAHAHA...man i won that 100$

Friday, August 17, 2012 - 01:30 pm cool song, you make a millionaire.

Friday, August 17, 2012 - 02:47 pm Yeah, I would actually really like to listen/see a top class battle. I met some really cool rappers when in a, how shall I say, institution, in Cal. Obviously no instruments but their own lips, lungs, bodies. Man they had this middle class white boy awe struck, no, hypnotised.

Friday, August 17, 2012 - 08:08 pm LMAO. Even a person who cant stand rap music has gotta respect the art of freestyle battle. Your not allowed to have anything in mind before hand, they change up the beats on you, you litterally have to know what your goin to see say next WHEN your already saying the first line. It has to ryhme, make sense, i mean battling isnt for everyone. When we were kids, me and my boys used to battle, and if someone stopped or couldnt ryhme something, they'd get punched. Not in the face but like the chest or shoulder. The key is to have the brain. When someone pratices long enough, you start ryhming words without even caring or knowing. thats the easy part. But making those ryhmes make sense...and make fun of a certain person...NOW THATS THE HARD PART

Friday, August 17, 2012 - 09:44 pm they don't have to. just sayin

Friday, August 17, 2012 - 09:58 pm Can you do it? Have you ever tried? I dont too much care for X games, bmx bikers, skateboarders and all that but i do have respect for the things they do. People think freestyle battles are easy until they see it takes one powerful brain to pull it off.

Friday, August 17, 2012 - 10:09 pm But then, very few people can write their own decent songs. So many chart entries are covers or contrived stuff. I blame all this X factor BS and stuff like that. Dont get me started on all that, my pet hate topic.

Friday, August 17, 2012 - 10:16 pm I swear on my mothers grave i write all my stuff. And i have songs for days. Notebooks full. I hate it too, there cheaters. We all write our own stuff, of course we dont money to spend for writers. People call me the best around here, like i said, no cat in a hat shit here. But seriously i work on improoving myself constantly so i should be good. But i love hearing people brag on me

Friday, August 17, 2012 - 10:56 pm No I've been to rap battles, I ran my university radio station for a year, so I've even organized one, it didn't seem to tough. I'm not gonna knock it too bad, but when I was my own songs, matching music with lyrics, it was a lot of work. Electronica seems to be able to mix whatever with whatever, and rap music tends to have a lot of seperations so each section of the song doesn't have to flow with the rest. And so the lyrics only have to fit the pace of the verse. Much much more simplistic in my opinion, no doubt some level of skill is needed I for one can't move my mouth that fast, only my fingers. But still on two completely different levels

Friday, August 17, 2012 - 11:04 pm But making those ryhmes make sense...and make fun of a certain person...NOW THATS THE HARD PART You'll want to becareful here man. Not to pick on the person if you get on the wrong side of him, thats if you are aiming at the guy and insulting the person, thats pretty harsh dont you think.

Saturday, August 18, 2012 - 12:46 am HA!!! I've already been on the wtong side of him. But making fun of people is remarkably easy, the hard part should be improptu rhyming as the good rap battlers and best comedians can turn your words against you. All I intended to say is that IF you compare it to good singer songwriters from other genres it isn't that impressive

Saturday, August 18, 2012 - 01:10 am it wont be easy for you if the person has the guts to stand up for himself.

Saturday, August 18, 2012 - 01:14 am if your going to partake in a rap battle both sides should have plenty of confidence. That shouldn't be an issue, words are words. Thick skin comes with the territory and if you don't have it don't do it, simple

Saturday, August 18, 2012 - 01:18 am thats true

Saturday, August 18, 2012 - 01:40 am there hasnt been ANY GOOD music since the 80's and yes I was around then..

Saturday, August 18, 2012 - 03:36 am Well technically Eminem took rap to another level, then 50 cent in 2002 had some good music. But Pac was the elvis of rap. And what rap music has become these days is just pu$$y stuff. But im a big rap fan and i give credit due to others. No limit soldiers, cash money records. I dont expect the world at large to even know these people. But rap musics not the only music i listen too. Imma music fan period. Unless its classical i can pretty much listen to anything

Saturday, August 18, 2012 - 08:11 am generates? I'll stay out of that one, because it isn't just rap that doesn't generate money. Hey let's talk about that! How money changing hands in no way shape of form creates value or generates prosperity

Saturday, August 18, 2012 - 07:56 pm Hey, dont seem long ago I heard her little voice singing 'my daddy's gone crazy'. Do the classical thing Kasper, promise you. Dont know the ones Laguna said, Philip Glass? wasnt he the bloke who wrote 30 minutes of silence or something.

Sunday, August 19, 2012 - 05:02 am Well let's just hope that baby Lori doesn't start singing, "my daddy's gone crazy."

Sunday, August 19, 2012 - 10:28 am Re: Classical music-- 'The Moldau' is good, also Beethoven's 5th symphony (always popular), Bach's 'Little Fugue', in A minor, I think. Wagner's Ring cycle is long if you want to listen to the whole thing, but there is both dark and stirring musical passages in it. Adagio for Strings ( I disremember the composer just now). Some of my favorites, anyway...

Sunday, August 19, 2012 - 05:00 pm The 30 minutes of silence is the kind of minimalist eccentricity which seems to be right up Glass' alley. If I'm not mistaken, that piece was "composed" for a concert hall where one can hear rain (water?) drops. So, the 30 minutes of silence were actually to enjoy the sounds of nature... and not the rumblings of a mob. Nevertheless, I would join the angry mob if I paid a bundle to hear something I can and do hear everyday from my window. Everytime someone mentions Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings, I remember of Joaquim Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez. They are both very sad pieces. I'm a bad person to talk to about classical, because it is the only thing I listen to.
