Orbiter | Monday, July 16, 2012 - 06:18 am heavy tanks and artillery don't stand up very well against...well, any thing. clear the air defense, and garison before using the cheap tank ammo to destroy targets. mrmb/ooamb to take out air d mrmb/ht or mrmb/ha, for lower war levels, and high q fighting, 800 tanks or artillery, rest mrmb, use just the mrmb to clear the target, then just the tanks to destroy it. i some times use an mrmb only, just to have a mass of weapons for hard to reach targets. |

Andy | Monday, July 16, 2012 - 10:03 am You should look into the weapons document and you will see which weapons are most effective in attacking such a target. I think that offensive missile batteries would be more effective against these installations and it seems that you have used heavy tanks. The quality of your units and the ammunition is also a very important factor and can change everything. |
SuperSoldierRCP | Monday, July 16, 2012 - 10:33 am Not when attacking targets andy Its still the same i use 300Q fighting units of 1000tanks/art (2000weapons in total) and it still takes 2attacks on targets to destroy them im sure its not us with the wrong weapons. When it takes 2000weapons mult attacks costing us what? 70,000shells per attack @ 300K per shell= 22.5B per attack. Not being rude, but I know of much better ways to piss away 45B to destroy a city. Plus the amount of cash gained per each war level is pathetically sad, Players should gain 2 if not 3T per war level. I see no reason why war level 11 should not give 20T + cash. I mean level 7 i get 8T. 15cities+ 20factories+ 40forts= 75targets 75targets * 23B per attack= 1.75T(this is based everything goes down with 1attack which in cities and forts isnt the case) Not counting the weapons i lose which is prob what another 3-4T. I MAKE A WHOOPING 2T cash(maybe), so really all a player can say is "thanks SOOOOO much for that blessed lump of cash." I'm very sure its not the weapons WE use but again might be that weapons don't do enough damage... I thank you guys for updating the amount dead in the last update it has helped ive noticed that i gain around 1-2WI points more then before but i think you might need to look @ it again A player shouldnt have to attack 2times to blow up a city and a player shouldnt have to destory all cities 3or4times over to get the max amount of War Index points for killing pop when it really is a "Required" part of the game |

I have specifically crafted each unit to do different things and before the update my team killed on a Level3 i was looking at maybe 2.2-2.3T profit. That's why i was curious if I was missing something. I never had to destroy the units on the map before. I think I tried when I was a noob and it didn't seem to hit anything. But I got to evolve in the war game so thanks for that. And redo some math, I think when I configured my units I was usig out of date unit statistics the sheet I was using said heavy artillery had a range of 800 so I knew it was wrong. |

Crafty | Monday, July 16, 2012 - 11:04 pm hit the heli wings where they sit on the ground. FP or bomb 'em, I would. You can also drag them out with a wing of navy fighter planes and one cruise missile ship. They respond to the missile and the NFP kill 'em. But I'm not sure thats so cool nowadays as you cant upgrade navy stuff so take big losses. Just a couple of heli wings would be ok though. Lol, I destroyed nearly 1 million helis in one sitting that way once in a PvP when navy fighting was very effective. |

Orbiter | Tuesday, July 17, 2012 - 10:40 pm Crafty, yes, try using MRMB with the OAAMB, just like you would to take out ints... you'll bypass the ints entirely. making cruise and ground good with out going through endless piles of interceptors. |
