Nicolas Fernandez Ponce | Sunday, May 27, 2012 - 01:17 am Do not make trades with this guy: Pompey He didnt keep his word and never payed me. He changes his nick name ALWAYS, so I suggest you to add him as friend in order to see his nick name as soon as he modify it. I was going to sell him my last LU country... I needed to conquer a country first in order to sell this one, so I asked him to wait a little. His reply was: " Re: Re: Re: Hello, no need to chat for the moment. Ive had an Idea. Instead of u capturing a country I could sell you a c3 i just conqured then send u the coins back via virtual assets. It would save us time that way we could do the deal now? " I accepted his offer as no one ever in years cheated on this. I trusted him.... I bought the country he gave me for 200 gc (current min price). I put my country on sale, he bid on it, I accepted the offer and wait for a new message with the virtual asset with 200gc. After several days already and many messages he never replied me back BUT he did change his nick name twice. He cheated and never payed what we agreed. Add this guy now and avoid being cheated by him too. To all new players... You can trust everyone else, or ask for reference in the forum before making transactions outside SC. Aside from this guy, everyone else were always respectful and trustable. |
Nicolas Fernandez Ponce | Sunday, May 27, 2012 - 01:19 am Also, the admins can check my virtual assets transactions to confirm this, and once that this guy should be banned IMO. |
viper7j4z | Sunday, May 27, 2012 - 01:49 am You should have KNOWN DO NOT TRUST ANYONE outside the game with anything |
Phoenix King | Sunday, May 27, 2012 - 02:57 am Contact gm |
Christopher Michael | Sunday, May 27, 2012 - 03:08 am Wow.....I'm sorry that happened to you! |
greggwalken | Sunday, May 27, 2012 - 08:00 am This has happened before, and I hope that you are able to reclaim what was lost. I would contact the GM. My advice is to be ever wary of who you do business with and what information you impart to players. I wish you the best of luck. |
Phoenix King | Sunday, May 27, 2012 - 08:25 am So did he keep your country in the end! |
maclean | Sunday, May 27, 2012 - 10:21 am I move that this guy be declared an outlaw, and that he is to be nuked on sight by any player that finds him. This kind of thing has to be a zero tolerance behavior, else it may spread. (There are always a few bad apples waiting to spoil it for everyone...) |
xiong96 | Sunday, May 27, 2012 - 11:55 pm gm should not allow things like this to happen? |
Phoenix King | Monday, May 28, 2012 - 06:23 am its not the gms fault, these things happen with any game when trading outsite, the gm clearly states this. There will always be a few bad apples. |
Scarlet | Monday, May 28, 2012 - 06:46 am No, you should never automatically assign trust to anyone. Trust is valuable. Valuable things must be earned. |
greggwalken | Monday, May 28, 2012 - 09:21 am Nicolas, the GMs are not really liable over this example of poor game ethics. This is an example of where players have no recourse to take action against players if they do wrong. These players will always hide behind war protection or war levels. I am very sympathetic. Mark it up as a lesson learned. Perhaps with enough pressure from other players, this one will man up and do the right thing. |
viper7j4z | Tuesday, May 29, 2012 - 05:36 am Na Pressure gets to much for him he will just quit. |
