Elimination of gold coins or remove gold coin pricing restriction
By eliminating gold coins everything will be based on game cash instead.
Game cash will be worth money instead of gold coins being worth money.
Instead of having 2 game currencies we will move to one.
The problem is that this game has two currencies.
By eliminating one of the currencies gold coins, the other will take over, game cash is more common with everything than gold coins, everything will be priced accordingly.
Before you start replying I want you to think about this, having just game cash instead of gold coins will make everything alot simpler.
No more inflation or deflation caused by the GM.
Gold coins will all be turned into the GM for a fixed amount of cash lets say 85B = 1 gold coin. Everyones coins will be exchanged at that rate until gold coins no longer exist in the game and it is wiped from all aspects of the game. Boosters, direct trading, space, extensions, everything with game cash. The problem that i haev seen and any good economist can tell you is that this game has two currencies and one gold coins is manipulated by the GM and the other in game cash is not. I mean the gold coins are manipulated in price becuase the GM tell us how much or how low we can sell them for and in game cash does not have this problem.
So my solutions are simple:
Eliminate gold coins and let players exchange them for 85B per coin until they are gone.
or
Let the players like Keto and Jo said specify how much they want for their gold coins without the GM placing restrictions. So if i want to place gold coins on the market for 150B and Jo for 30B and other players for 500B let them do so. Let the market price gold coins and you will see it will all work for the best, take off gold coin restrictions in terms of pricing them.

and tell us which of the two solutions you think would be best that i said above. Both are good i think personaly removing gold coin pricing restrictions is the best way to bring gold coins back into the market. |
