Such behavior should be punished by the GM.

Do you know that if you set the employment to 10% it shows up on the country employment as needed for 100% employment... that messes with your "Build Schools/hospitals" set up.
Or just lean close and whisper in his ear... that is more scary ... |

Their countries are in secured mode or with war protection.
And even though they are hiding behind those settings, they keep sending me messages like:

I believe you attacked one of their friends and took his countries. They are getting back at you. Sounds fair to me. If you attack people then you should expect something in return. You are becoming viewed as a war monger and some people just do not like you.
What is a player to do when they can not attack you back when you wipe their friends out? They send you messages that are meant to irratate. I agree that a filter is needed, but to complain about messages being sent to a player who takes other player's countries is a bit much for me. What did you expect? |

I said, from the very beginning after I came back to SC that I AM a war monger. If you didn't believe me then it's not my fault ;). Nor it is, if you don't like me.

Unfortunately, I can do nothing to avoid you being so innocent. If you wanna believe that, then do it, it's your life.
And just for the record. If I attack someone I DO EXPECT HIM TO ATTACK ME as "something in return".
He can also message me back if he wants, however, he should NOT insult. It's a matter of respect.

I'm sorry if you are too sensitive.
Anyone in and above War Level 3 knows there is a chance of losing his country (if it's not on secured mode, etc). That said, if you took that risk and you eventually lose your country then you are supposed to behave like a man and an adult and talk with respect.
Anyone can message me with or without lies, with or without complains, but insults are not allowed. |

I don't think QB was saying she didn't like you or respect you Nic. I think she was just commenting on the messages you are getting and why you are getting them. And I believe she agreed with you on the profanity part.
You are viewed as a war monger now by some people. Doesn't matter what you pronounced when you came back to the game. She did not say she viewed you this way nor do I. War is part of the game and we know this. If you attack players then you run the risk of being so labled.
I am sure she is not innocent or sensitive and I take offense at you implying so. Some players are not able to attack you back as a response because they don't have the military, so they insult you as the only way they know to get back at you. Respect is not part of their game as it is for you and I. Foul language is part of many players only ammo against military powers they can do nothing about. This is all QB was saying.

mmmmm mmmmmm okay I did take it as an offense too. But you got point there.
However, I still think she is innocent for believing a story from one unknown guy that even her own WGC leader doesn't believe in and that she didn't care to analyze what happened.
(site note: Her WGC leader did care to analyze what happened)
I agree also that for some guys, these kind of messages seems to be the only thing they know to do but it does not remove my point which that it should not be allowed. |

First off. I am quite capable of defending myself red. Please do not take offense for me. I know you have nothing at all against NFP and I wish keep it that way.
As for you NFP. I do not know what your particular problem with me is, but I also have nothing at all against you and consider you a war player. I never once, ever thought you would not attack players after you saying you would, so please drop that angle. Somewhere you must have gotten the impression otherwise. War is part of the game and I expect war between players.
I believe you refer back to a forum post in which you think I laughed at you. you are wrong. Again a misconception on context.
Calling me innocent and sensitive when I said nothing about you or your style of playing is a bit out of line as you claim to be about respect in this game. I merely replied to a forum post and I will apologize if it came across to you as anything other then that. It was not an attack, it was not a criticism and was never meant to be so.
I have nothing at all against you, but I am starting to believe you think I do. Let us put that to rest. I do not. As a matter of fact I believe you to be a very strong player with a powerful military. I have only ever tried to help you and even your economy. Yes, lil ole me. :D
So again. If you took my response personal I am sorry you feel that way, but it was not meant that way. Your response to me however was sharp and edgy and I believe was meant to be so. I accept that. As long as you understand I meant nothing harsh towards you.
I will not post in these forums again other then to advertise for my corps. At least for a long time because I do not appreciate the drama started here nor do I wish to cause any problems.

We get complaints about people by mail.
we always answer although some times it can take quite long.
short messages are answered more quickly.
Nicolas, you know it as you mailed us before.
we do not like to intervene between players but have done so in the past several times. we have also suspended people who clearly broke the rules in our agreement.
Messages should be possible to filter out and prevent complaints and interventions by the gamemaster. |
