Tuesday, April 3, 2012 - 07:50 pm Is it me or have there nto been as much demand for shares of public corps latley. Since that change where investment funds don't buy as much It is harder to to make money from the sell of public corps now

Tuesday, April 3, 2012 - 08:50 pm I've noticed this as well. I just started my first two public corps and so far no buyers...also, I noticed that my country portfolio is not buying shares.

Wednesday, April 4, 2012 - 08:30 pm I noticed this big time. Selling down shares takes alot longer. I ended up just having to use my own investment funds. Still hard to make a dent in 100 IPO companies. I understand yall are trying to get more people to use there investment funds, but outside c3 Investment funds should buy more then just .01%

Wednesday, April 4, 2012 - 11:39 pm Recent changes are aimed at a reduction in the number of share holder in a corporation. If a corporation has too many share holders, it does not allow new shareholder but does allow existing ones to sell. In time, the number of shareholders in a corporation will decline. it also encourages current shareholders to increase their share. We will check if indeed share buying is reduced. This was certainly not the aim of this change.

Thursday, April 5, 2012 - 01:28 am Has anyone noticed that funds aren't selling many shares they own of corps with super high P/E's? I've noticed they seem to be hanging on to shares they would have dumped prior to the change. Maybe it's just me but I'd like to know if anyone has noticed this? I do not think that many players manually work their investment funds, but you never know.

Thursday, April 5, 2012 - 05:35 pm I didnt think the auto share buying system bought high P/E shares for anything. And a president would have to be pretty sure they knew what was going on to buy them. So no good trying to sell them if no demand.

Thursday, April 5, 2012 - 06:18 pm I got idea instead of a hard coded limit on the number of share holders how about turn off auto buy for the president owned country investement fund have the c3 investment fund buy more at once and turn of the 4% rule on the investment fund buying. I know my coutnry on fb I was trying to buy shares and ran in the that 4% limit and that investment fund has the money to buy alot of shares at once. and isn't that the goal decrease the small buying and increase the large buying and selling And on a related note I don't know as if buying has been reduced but selling has my coutrys public corp are all on the more supply and demand in stock and it is making it harder to sell those companies

Friday, April 6, 2012 - 01:45 pm https://sim05.simcountry.com/cgi-bin/cgi2nova?SN_ADDRESS=wwwCountry&SN_METHOD=ccorp&miCorpNumber=2558246 Check out the shares.. ;) the limit is set ' technically ' but there is more than 1 way to skin a cat... ;) I think all of you need to get a better grasp on Investment funds, how they work, and what they do. BTW, they've actually helped the Investment funds purpose a great deal by decreasing the amount of owners allowed, because that increases the demand on the market for the shares. you can no longer successfully have automations run share settings, (which ive never done anyway) but this change certainly makes it less likely to be beneficial. Thats just an example
