President Reagan (Fearless Blue) | Monday, December 19, 2011 - 10:56 pm I would like to address the issue of political power in Simcountry, the theory of the game preventing players from making stupid mistakes by imposing restrictions upon the players is flawed. The reason for this is because when democratic power has been achieved, it's not close to reality when the power of the chief executive is infringed in such a mannor. Also there is a current military spending limit and a ban on closing corperations without sense. I propose to have all of the above restrictions removed from the game, allowing for a much more unrestricted and free form of gameplay; players need to be able to make mistakes on their own. |
Azyren (White Giant) | Tuesday, December 20, 2011 - 02:37 am I agree with closing corporations, but with you being a Republican not so much with decreased military spending. |
Psycho_Honey (White Giant) | Tuesday, December 20, 2011 - 06:50 pm lol lol lol Azyren |
President Reagan | Tuesday, December 20, 2011 - 06:58 pm Well, moderation is key but the limitation of the power is stupid; it serves no purpose to experienced members of the game. It's just an annoyance. If they were not removed, I would like them optional at the very least. |
SuperSoldierRCP (Fearless Blue) | Tuesday, December 20, 2011 - 07:53 pm I disagree with the closing corps to be honest. I do believe the limit is beneficial to new players. It prevents them closing all their states and letting them fall into total chaos. I do think that 3corps a month isn't a lot. With the raise of pop limits i do think 5-6 a month would be much better but to do away with the entire protective net wouldn't do anyone any good. I do however agree 100% with your military spending limits removal |
President Reagan | Tuesday, December 20, 2011 - 08:33 pm Very good but as I said if it was not removed as a feature of the game I would like it to be at very least optional for use. If dumb newbies decide to ruin their nation it should be their choice to make. |
