WitchyPoo (Little Upsilon) | Wednesday, December 14, 2011 - 01:23 pm The population of Inannas Temple may not exceed 100,000,000. Is this an error? I thought we could go up to 300 million? This would really explain the issue with the population in some countries that are declining if the system is still using these population maximums. Can this be fixed please Andy? |
Andy | Wednesday, December 14, 2011 - 01:39 pm It probably happened when you transferred. Please try again. |
WitchyPoo (Little Upsilon) | Wednesday, December 14, 2011 - 01:48 pm Yep, this was on a transfer. Fixed and thx |
Andy (Kebir Blue) | Wednesday, December 14, 2011 - 02:20 pm This has nothing to do with any population changes in the countries. population declines if: 1: there was a sale of population. This will continue for a very long time. up to 100 game months per million sold. 2: Natural death. especially in the 0-4 years old but also in other groups, and increasing with age. numbers are very small and decline with an increase in the health care index. Population purchases can cause an imbalance between age groups and as a result, following population purchases, some age groups can increase and some may decline until they re-balance. War and migration can also influence the population. Make sure your migration index remains high. |
WitchyPoo (Fearless Blue) | Wednesday, December 14, 2011 - 03:39 pm Okay Andy, what is a baseline for the migration index. What is average and what is high? And what I meant with that statement was that when population was capped at 100 million the country would lose population at a very high rate as it is doing now. It may just be some other factors so I guess I'll see if they balance out. My health index is dropping like a rock too with all the added pop coming in so I'm not fingering anything in particular right now. |
WitchyPoo (Fearless Blue) | Thursday, December 15, 2011 - 05:39 pm Andypoooooo I can't heeeear youuuuu! Baseline. |
Andy | Thursday, December 15, 2011 - 11:57 pm The empire has sold away many many millions of the population. The population will decline as a result. As I said before: population declines if: 1: there was a sale of population. This will continue for a very long time. up to 100 game months per million sold. |
WitchyPoo (Little Upsilon) | Friday, December 16, 2011 - 01:02 am Andy... I heard that part. I was asking what is a baseline as far as migration is concerned. What is (considered)average and what is (considered)high? Thx. And don't you all at w3c think that up to 100 months per million sold is a weeee bit extreme? So if I sold 10 million in population that could be up to game 1000 months, or more than three real months... WOW. When you think of it that way it is clear that is a bit overboard of a penalty for just selling some population. |
