Antilia Walton (Little Upsilon) | Saturday, December 10, 2011 - 06:53 pm I understand how the games can be frustrating and have no patience whats so ever. Some things in the country game tht requires attention and some does not. I realise that it is not necessary to put in that many so called Min - Target number of corporation required. I have unfortunately wasted all the gold coins in the first lot. Now, that it does take time to build up the employment over time with out having to sacrifice the hiring issue. It's best to have 100% hiring employment for the corps as it makes a big difference to the income and the fact it helps the score a much more better in the long run. The education system is the key to successful in order to build the country. Increase the teachers and university teachers in order to grow the numbers fast, because the country will need them as it helps to increase the high tech levels higher than usual and there for, you can use them to put them in the corporation when they are at maxed upgraded to become profitable corps. Of cause, it is always a good start to use the super boost when there is enough workers and high level workers, but don't go overboard like I did in the first place. I have deleted all the corps because of the upgrades I've wasted on with next to nothing high level workers. Also to, when playing the market situation market, I realise that high reds is what makes money with fully upgraded company and makes it easier to sell. While the high greens, makes it harder to sell and there for, you'll most likely have to downgrade the quality in order to sell. You will also be playing in the selling and buying strategy. This takes time to figure out the sweet spot which makes sense, because it will make the company make even more money to the corp and to the country. As you know every one does not like taxes. Having high taxes will most likely to cause the corp to perform unstable. You need to set the tax right if you want it to perform properly. As long as the corp is making money for the corp and at the same time, paying the country. Any how, this is just a starting point of how players can get mixed up when things go wrong and they eventually work it out and learn by the mistake. I just thought I share it with you and the fact that it's good idea to give some inform on how the business runs. Good luck, Anthony. |
WitchyPoo (Little Upsilon) | Saturday, December 10, 2011 - 09:46 pm Anthony, many new players will benefit where you have shared your knowledge and save some new players the benefit of not having to learn these things through trial and error. I grant thee the Golden Newbie Award. If you wish to redeem some gold coins come to chat and ask for wendy, your good karma shall be rewarded. |
Orbicus (White Giant) | Sunday, December 11, 2011 - 04:27 am Good stuff, thanks, as a new player I appreciate this information. |
Antilia Walton | Sunday, December 11, 2011 - 11:11 am I would like to appreciate you're appreciation to this thread. There is a lot more to say about this game and the education system because, I was typing something not long a go and I stuffed it up. I just hope you know that I'm not a GM, I'm just every day ordinary gamer. I do enjoy the Simcountry. I would like to thank you for letting me share my thoughts on the game and that I hope some players might take the benefit and does not make a mistake like I did. Of cause, I have made some spelling mistakes in the thread to. Thank you Wendy for you're reward, although you can keep it or give it to some one else who might need it more than I do. Just because I accidently wasted all in the first place, doesn't mean I'll have it back. It just mean that I learn something from the first place which was my fault. You can call me a troll if you wish, because I done this. But I can take the abuse. Not many people like troll, but I'm just simply sharing my thoughts on the game. There is alot more to say about the education system and the country index and the finance situation. But I'm sure you will all work it out eventually in the long run. Because this thread will die sooner or later. I just don't want to make things harder for you people, as it can be boring. I would like to thank you all for the appreciation once again and keep up the great job GM. Special thanks to Wendy. See you all soon in the long patience run. With kind regards, Anthony. PS: I hope you new players will learn something that you wouldn't do like I did. Keep in mind though, every one does make mistake, even the GM and the professional players. |

Antilia Walton (Little Upsilon) | Tuesday, December 13, 2011 - 09:54 pm Well, I gotta say, accident happen. I just wished that I didn't spend all that lovely Gold Coins in the first place. |
Antilia Walton (Little Upsilon) | Wednesday, December 14, 2011 - 11:46 pm Now, I just recieved the $12 Gold Coins and in the future, I'll spend it wisely to make up for the last lot I've wasted and I've just used two Super Boost Upgrade on the two corporations. Next one will be the next Ceo. One Ceo per 10 State Corporations. I also lowered back the tax to 0% again as the income and the performance was going bad since I introduced the tax to the country and increased the State Corporation back to 100%. Thanks, Anthony. |
