I've been running through a bunch of money recently. I was doing things where I noticed this over the last week or two, but couldn't confirm it because of course I was spending money. I thought orders turning immediate was fixed?
I just paid off all the debt in this and sever al other countries over the last proly month and no matter what they continue to rack up debt in the reillions. I thought I was going crazy but this just confirms it. While I was purchasing products with several different countries trying to space trade I noticed 1 trillion in spending space was actually 2 or 3 trillion. Again I thought I was crazy. I space traded and continued sinking countless trillion back into these countries.
Tonight just confirmed it. I had every country paid off as of last night b/c I want to do a GC exchange. Check this morning after the 8 hour window. And a single country has 7 trillion in debt. I purchased nothing. I am only repairing Nephele and exchanging workers. I stopped doing anything because I noticed no matter how much I was space trading, my direct account has been dwindling, which shouldn't be happening after I sell the products and pull the cash out of the world I was selling from.
I just saw that this was fixed. The country on FB, muuney Bags - country orders have turned immediate for everything. I have orders for 0 quantity of x product and just burning a hole in my direct account. I'm positive I've lost a significant amount of money on this just didn't notice until today for sure.
Just wanted to let you know about the error quickly, rather than post in problems. Which gets no attention for some reason. And maybe some kind of compensation possibly. This wasn't just a trillion or two.
My Direct Trade log is posted and my country order log is posted as well.
Also my country is showing +1 trillion for weapons and ammo purchased but I don't recall ordering anything. Or it was an old sitting order that suddenly went immediate. Not sure. Hope you guys can tell whats going on. I broke my head all last night trying to figure out some video crap and then on my CEO again. My brain is fried. I'd love to pin point everything for yous to make it easy but I'm seriously about cry over this game.

Your not alone Wendy, I've been trying to get attention to the immediate order problem for a while now. Obviously it will cane your money having stuff bought at 2.5 or 3 X market price.
I would like to see a buying strategy for country consumed products so I could offer xxx % increased by x % a month, for automatically ordered products. Just like we have for corps. |

I believe I'm having the same problem with my ceo's. I order 100 quality FMU's for a fixed price with no percentage increase. Looking at my ceo income and cash balance the math doesn't work.
Been noticing this problem for a few months now. Lately it seems excessive.
Perhaps the purchases are being executed at 3x market price.(Or even worse) |

I had/have the same problem in one of my countries. I think it might be based off the new change on country loans. My country had 7T in debt and would not purchase any products. When I paid the debt off, immediate orders for everything up to and including dog food and tampons went in.
I'm hoping that once the orders get caught up, the problem goes away.
Moral of the story (in my case anyway) is to keep the debt out of my countries.
This may not be the case in your situation, but sounds similar. |

The gamesmaster has replied to me that if you have a defeceit of any product an order will be issued at immediate straight away. I'm experimenting with setting the trade strategy to have a minimum of 2 and 3 months in stock. This is going to cost as orders will be big for a while, but hopefully will negate the immediate order thing. |

Despite what is said here and what follows, be aware that current profits in most countries are extremely high and they make good money. There is no broad decline in any of the worlds (maybe not yet) and specific problems in some types of corporations may occur due to very large shortages in raw materials for these types of corporations.
The averages and the total numbers are OK and most countries are doing good.
This type of discussion has been on the forum many times before. When some players experience a down turn in profits the discussion restarts. But there is no change in the model to cause profits to change into losses.
There are daily routines that deliver us world numbers and totals. Average numbers and profits were at the highest level for a very long time, and stayed there for a long time. Checking many countries and enterprises takes place each day. There are some enterprises with 400B profit per game month and it is not sustainable, mainly because of current product shortages. We also did not hear any complaints about recent very large profits. The situation in beginner's countries is the best ever.
You can see very large shortages on the market in some major products. Much larger shortages than we had before. This means that there are many corporations that are now out of materials and countries with shortages (hence the immediate orders that worsen the situation even more). The corporations cannot work at full capacity and in its turn, it causes many others to reduce or stop production. Such corporations start to make losses and don't pay taxes. Been there done that, many times over.
The solution is to start many corporations producing products that are in short supply. Even that will not solve the problem right away because these too will have hard time getting their raw materials but in time it does help and production will increase.
There are differences between this time and previous times. We have in the past intervened and added some products. A discussion on the forum some time ago convinced us, and we said so much on the forum, to reduce our interventions, meaning, start them later. We had 1-3% interventions in some products now less, 1% and mostly 0%. The moment they kick in is when shortages become more severe. There are some small interventions now.
On the positive side, some products are moved between worlds.
Some of you are holding huge amounts of products in stock. Sell some and resolve some shortages. It helped in similar situations in the past and prices are now high enough.
There are also longer term trends. We would expect that with exchange rates pushing the value of game money much higher and some compensation for it in pricing of products and salaries, it should push all numbers in the game down, both income and cost should become lower.

The same problems, and Crafty has the right solution! And set the strats in each country. But set the time line at 6 months or longer since many items seem to be in short supply. When the item is in short supply it takes much longer to get it. If your country doesn't get before 0 in stock, the next order will be immediate! I am building and buying some corps and maybe enough will help. |

when you have automatic ordering of products, orders are issued when the stock goes under 2 months.
there are regular orders. If the order is not delivered within several game months it becomes an immediate order.
If you do not get products you need on time, your stock could go negative.
if the stock is negative, automatic orders are issued as immediate orders.
we have more of these now because of very severe shortages.
many are for ammunition. Ammunition is used monthly as part of the army maintenance cost. these are low numbers and orders are small.
there are types of ammunition on short supply and no one is creating these corporations. these orders are just not delivered and as a result, there are many immediate orders sitting around.
this way of ordering products has been part of the ordering procedure from the start. there is no change.

There is no immediate need for a ceo to buy any product.

Tom, Ive had multiple automatic immediate orders. First the regular order when product stock is low, then that order autos to immediate after a few gamemonths. THEN, a NEW immediate order, sometimes larger than the original, is auto created when I hit shortage. THEN suddenly, BOTH immediate orders are executed when product becomes available. I end up getting double the amount for immediate prices. BANG! Last gamemonth this happened for multiple products. On LU this can happen very fast. I lost more than a trillion overnight. I didnt even know there were multiple orders and I check pending deliveries religiously.
If theres an immediate order pending, a NEW immediate order shouldnt automatically be created. At least without msg the president or asking for a confirm. We need something to help us control this better. |
