Tuesday, March 29, 2011 - 06:26 am I never really liked Empire total war...I thought it was kinda annoying when 20-25 turns in i would look and wonder what happened to the Ottomans just to realise that the Maratha Confederacy blobed out and took over all of India and the Middle-East.

Tuesday, March 29, 2011 - 03:36 pm @Dr. I know what you mean, I'm preparing to conquer the Marthas as we speak. Have you played any other similar games?

Wednesday, March 30, 2011 - 12:07 am I played Civilization 2 almost everyday for like 10 years! lol. Anybody tried Geo Political Simulator or Super Power 2? I have those but there are aspects of each that just annoy me so I quit playing. If anyone knows a game along those lines, be sure to let me know.

Wednesday, March 30, 2011 - 12:42 am Used to Play Civ, then graduated to the paradox games...then by accident found this game...and have been stuck here ever since.. Thought I would finish this game 6 months ago, but decided to stay.

Wednesday, March 30, 2011 - 01:43 pm I have enjoyed the Total War games that I have played, and love the Hearts of Iron series. This game is good, still learnin the ropes. So far, so good. I have played all of the Civ versions, though at this point I have to get my PC upgraded to properly play Civ 5. Dang it. Also a fan of hex based war-games, such as Steel Panthers and Panzer General.

Friday, April 1, 2011 - 01:48 pm Maestro- Check out Steel Panthers: World at War. Closest thing I have found so far. I just downloaded Open General, which is an open source version of Panzer General too. Will report back on that after this weekend. I spent many hours playing AH's Russian Front with my Dad as a youngling.
