Wendy hon, there seems to be an endless procession of middle school minded folks who still have the mentality that "if someone else is getting picked on that means I won't be the target so lets make sure we can get people to (continue to)pick on that someone other than me" and yes it is insecurity- Big time.
I don't know how to break the cycle. I mean any time someone new comes in that has this issue thier first priority is to look around for this 'safty' and find out who is able to keep them from being singled out themselves.

You may be the 'pinnacle' of YOUR progression. Or shall we actually break down those figures that the stats provide. For ie, the number of countries? Of course when you add your empire and DTA's fed together, you will have alot. Figure this how about the production of your countries? Or better yet, how about a simple one... Wars won and lost record? Dont insult the other presidents of this game by claiming you are the pinnacle, we already have enuf leaving.
