Banedon Runestar (Kebir Blue) | Tuesday, October 12, 2010 - 06:05 pm Hello, I just bought 600B of weapons for my garrisons. According to the math I did from the documentations on weapons, that should be more then enough to push me up 20 points to get over 40 Def. Index and into the next level. In practice it appears to have pushed me up no more then 3 points. So what happened? Is the documentation wrong? Do weapons in a garrison not count? Is it a bug? Is it working as intended so in order to get to level 2 I'll have to bankrupt myself? Should I just get used to playing at level 1 and forget about rewards? This is monutentally frustrating. |

whiteboy | Tuesday, October 12, 2010 - 09:17 pm Banedon, the defense index increases over time, it doesn't automatically respond to changes in weapons. It will take a few game months before it reaches the index that is appropriate based on the weapons you purchased. It is vital to 'level up' for rewards as this will allow you to purchase population and generally build up more quickly in the future. On a side note, the weapon that will increase your def index most quickly is MIB's (missile intercepter batteries), I believe about 75K of them will get you to level 10? (Can't remember the exact number but the point is to purchase those in bunches to get your def index up as quickly as possible). In general, it's better to level up by the cheapest method, build up rewards (GC's) while building up your economy, then build your defense (garrisons, air d, offense). |

Banedon Runestar (Kebir Blue) | Wednesday, October 13, 2010 - 06:23 pm Thank you all. It is indeed rising. I thought the delay would be a month or two tops. Didn't think it would be as long as it is. |
