Both Cargo Shuttles and docking stations have been enlarged and can now store double as much cargo as before. This will reduce the number of shuttles needed in transport. We will also look into how many products of each type can fit in the enlarged shuttles and may reduce the foot print of some products to fit more on a single mission. 2. Direct Trading The direct trading pages have been improved. Both buying and selling of gold coins for game cash are now on a single page and it is easier to see and understand the various possibilities. The texts describing the transactions are clearer and we show on each of the tables the best deal on offer, which is always the top line on the list. The range of requests to buy gold coins and game money is now between 20% under the average exchange range and up to 20% above the average exchange range. This will help to prevent losses by players who are not aware of the opportunities and mistakenly click and execute expensive transactions. Using the menu options, the trading is separated into two pages. Using the left of the page menu, both buying and selling is on a single page. This is an error in the menu and it will be corrected ASAP. 3. Cash Market - Money exchange The exchange of game money against gold coins on the cash market is now winding down. Existing transactions may run their course while new offers are diverted to the direct market. The cash market exchange will expire within several days and the exchange functions will be removed once the queue is empty. 4. Max 10 countries can declare war against one country This was announced in the previous game news and it is now activated. 5. Larger Corporations As published before, several types of corporations are hiring more people. These corporations are slightly changed with more people, mostly the same raw materials used and higher production. |

Max 10 countries can declare war against one country This was announced in the previous game news and it is now activated.retarded. This is very abusable. You are not going to see the effect you want. I thought we decided it would be players, not countries. |
Psycho_Honey | Thursday, September 2, 2010 - 02:39 pm 10 is in fact enough. I think what BC means is that players from the same federation will declare war on each other in order to prevent counter decs from the defender or his allies. That indeed is abuse and has happened more times than I can count on one hand in the last two months. A simple rule I will suggest. A player cannot declare war on a player in his or her federation, make it not by country, but by player. And make it so there is some time frame for countries to change federations, or a a country that recently changes federation may not participate in defense for x amount of time, which is one of the main reasons countries pop in and out of feds quickly. |
Tom Willard (Little Upsilon) | Thursday, September 2, 2010 - 02:47 pm Yes you are right. we can tune this further and make it safer and less open for abuse. We have chosen to act now and limit to 10 as a first step that could be done quickly. Improving this will take more work but we are at it and will continue to implement as was discussed on the forum. All this came while we are also doing what we intended to do before it came up so it takes some pushing back and forth here to fit in some of these points. The next one will be to separate the spending space for defensive weapons from other weapons and allow for more defensive weapons spending. it could be raised when war is started but we need the separation now. we will also try to be quick on allowing more defense involvement from fed members. the features that will really start to solve our problem are now planned but will take longer to implement. we are determined to do it ASAP as we think that it will be a major improvement to Simcountry. |
Orbiter (White Giant) | Friday, September 3, 2010 - 06:13 am ok, so when are shuttles actually have more capacity? mine still don't, same amount, nothings changed! |
Tom Willard (Little Upsilon) | Friday, September 3, 2010 - 02:49 pm Once you make a change, load or unload etc. it will show the double capacity. |
