We promised some more answers to issues that were raised during that discussion.

Virtual Assets

We agree that offering virtual game assets outside Simcountry will be a great feature and we also agree that it can create exposure to people who never heard of SC.
We will add ASAP.

Space Shuttles and docking stations

We will double the capacity of both cargo shuttles and docking stations in the coming days. A real test of this will only be possible once we continue to reorganize the markets and the cargo shuttles are becoming essential for some products.
The current direct market will be improved and extended to include cargo shuttles and many other products. We think that cargo shuttles should be traded directly in that market only.

Moving cash into Investment funds

Currently this part if only used to create a large share market as these funds have trading rules that force them to trade. This is done to prevent situations where a small number of transactions can create big changes in share prices.

Moving cash into the funds does not make much sense if you cannot take it out later. The funds do pay profits and increase the earning of the working population. This should be made visible and it should create more advantages for the country.

Tom theres other issues that we didnt get to discuss such as the Econ Levels. Yes they do need to be hard and them seem to strict, for example.

Requirements for Game Level 10 (Full Game)
Required number of Countries: 1
Required number of Enterprises: 1
Required AVERAGE Population Number: 15 million
Required AVERAGE defensive Index: 100
Required AVERAGE Defense Index: 110
Required AVERAGE Education Index: 120
Required AVERAGE Health Care Index: 120
Required AVERAGE Transportation Index: 120
Required AVERAGE Social Security Index: None Required
Required AVERAGE Salary Level: 100
Required AVERAGE Financial Index: 80
Required AVERAGE Employment Index: 85
Required Average Net Cash Level: 1 Trillion
Required Number of Corporations in the Enterprise: 200
Awarded Number of Gold Coins: 100

Requirements for Game Level 10 (Peaceful Game)
Required number of Countries: 5
Required number of Enterprises: 2
Required AVERAGE Population Number: 35 million
Required AVERAGE defensive Index: None Required
Required AVERAGE Defense Index: None Required
Required AVERAGE Education Index: 130
Required AVERAGE Health Care Index: 130
Required AVERAGE Transportation Index: 130
Required AVERAGE Social Security Index: 100
Required AVERAGE Salary Level: 150
Required AVERAGE Financial Index: 140
Required AVERAGE Employment Index: 90
Required Average Net Cash Level: 25 Trillion
Required Number of Corporations in the Enterprise: 800
Awarded Number of Gold Coins: 100

If you look Econ players need 4more countries then war players to reach the higher levels. Also they need high Incomes to not only support the High Education, Health, and Transportant but needing an Average of 35million population is a big deal because at 25M you become targeted by war players because of the 25M population cap. In total an Econ player must have 5countries, a total of 125T in either one country or spread though the empire ( if we have 125T in one country we will at points get hit with a financial services tax) plus all countries must have 35M pop which. To prove a point I have below worked on one slave to the best I possibly can to get as close to the requirements you have listed and it is still hard

Population Size 28,546,680
Education Index 199.45
Health Index 106.47
Social Security 102.00
Employment Index 89.81
Transportation Index 138.86
Business and Trade Index 121.50
Finance Index 150.19
Budget 816.87B SC$

I would like W3C to take another look because Econ players arent getting fair levels and it seems (Said by others) Its like you expect Econ Players to be the real Warlords

Thats a good idea soldier, It is harder to reach game levels for peaceful, I say that peaceful should be easier to.

I should be harder to make it via the peacefull route. Frankly, alot of people who view themselves as "econ" players are not very good at econ.

It should not be possible to simply have a high population and all enterprise corps and to build enough of what is listed as the requirements to level to get above level 10. A player should have really mastered the econ side of the game.

I agree that it is easier to level via the war option; but, if a player were to remove his entire military, it would be just as easy to level via the peace option.

The concept of peaceful levels vs. war levels is irrelevant.

A peaceful player can get high levels more easily by just using the regular levels and buying a lot of MIBs, and then after receiving GC just switch back to peaceful. There is no reason, other than vanity, to maintain a game level higher than 5 anyway(unless you're going for #1 award but you can only do that 1x per 6 months).

Actually, maintaining second - fifth place rewards every month has been better for indiviuals with multiple empires than getting stuck in HOF dungeon. That's a good reason to stay at level 10 or 11.

The way the space trading is currently setup is really neat. The buyer has 200 euros to spare and the whole market only has 20 in merchandise.

Don't increase the capacity of the space shuttles. Those already fit their purpose. Docking stations on the other hand don't. Increase their capacity to six times the capacity of a space shuttle. For 200 gold coins, it is more than paid for.

LG, in my opinion..

Perhaps in a few months, when more people are trading in space, well, make that a lot more people..I think the 10 or so of us that use space frequently see the potential aspect of the game. And for trading on those 200gc docks serves its purpose, but when they stated ' move between worlds ' is where the cargo space will come in handy for those of us using it for those purposes..

When the docks look like they will be worth 200 gc to me, I'll own one too..

I'm just super excited to see where it goes in the future.

as far as the shuttle thing goes... if 2k aam per shuttle are a enough... well, i could see arguments that it shouldn't be easy to move military across the galaxy easy

my problem, is the the amount of clicking. i'd rather see the storage capacity multiplied by 10, and the speed divided 10 (or five to replace the double capacity effect,) that way you still can't move huge quantities across space quickly, but you can, at the same rate, with less effort.

as it is, 1 round trip anywhere, doesn't take very long. so instead of 5 shuttles making 10 trips each to move 100k aam, it would take 5 shuttles 1 trip each, but the time would be the same,

it would make it more inviting

What would be more inviting is if we could sell shuttles as corps again, Wasnt my fault my corp made 100B per game year..not to mention they could some how do like special days to go with all their advertising increasements..such as..
"buy GM pop today recieve a space shuttle!" something that tells people who dont have space stuff, they are more then welcome to come float around with WD, LG, and I

Then again, the merging of the direct and cash market giving the GM access to sell anything imaginable (for a slightly steeper price then we'd charge similar to the pop market) wouldnt need to advertise, I would have given 100 gc for the hassle and upkeep of that shuttle corp not to mention the costs, to a new player, 5T is rich! and saying "oooh space" to a new player and of course they gonna put them selves in heaps of debt, perhaps make space only avaliable after x amount of days, then again I have millions of ideas, but seeing how the proposal thing never really gets answered n ur just tossed into the pile, I imagine instead haha

Maintaining the actual "Level 10" designation (defense included) may be pointless, but if your empire (minus junk countries) do not have indexes that can maintain this level, you're doing it wrong (unless your salary levels are ridiculously high).

Tom I am not sure if you know or have noticed.

On the twitter of your name, it announces war decs and results. Today I conquered a country BG econ 8, and bg econ 04, except that the feed had tweeted that BG econ 04 took control of my country. Not sure why it is coming up backwards. But I thought you would want to know that if you were unaware.

I can definitely agree with Laguna about increasing the dock size. They're just too tiny.

Shuttles desperately need to go up in size though as well, they're too tiny too.

Other than that, the only way to really get the economy in space off the ground is to actually get some more shuttles out there. Individually they may no longer be a "big ticket" item per se, but when the only way to get one is to sink about 1.2T into a single corporation and hope it can push one out to you before it goes bust....yeah, the typical new player can't do it.

Most of the "veteran" players aren't interested for a variety of reasons, so the only way to kick it into high gear would be to make the shuttles more accessible.

it is difficult for players on FB to stay in good shape because you have to have military to defense your countries. Then you will run out of workers. While economy on FB is not like other world ( Little Upsilon). So tire. Hope SimNations has a better place to play
